Saying that any post sequel episode is massively overhated is an argument that has absolutely no merit whatsoever. Even the ones I disagree with being hated like Code Yellow and Out of the Picture are easy to see how someone could hate them, but there's still enough people liking them to prevent them from beung "overhated".
The Fishbowl is a legitimate bottom 10 contender mainly due to the awful ending where Patrick blames it all on science and learns nothing, then blatantly joins Sandy in luring a horrifically out of character Squidward into a confined imprisonment, and then takes notes like a scientist watching a wild zoo animal.
Besides the paint in the eye and the ending, Good Neighbors is legitimately a funny episode and I love scenes like the house turning into a Godzilla-esque monster, and I'll never get enough of Squidward stomping on the fezzes.

Krab Borg made it on mine at 18th and it has made the top 25 before but seeing it so close to the top 10 is a surreal feeling as just a few years ago I thought I'd be one of few to really love it and call it one of the classics. The dynamics in Krab Borg are completely solid with a great Squid/SpongeBob teamup, and the ending revealing they went through all of that due to SpongeBob's sleepless induced paranoia forgetting the events of the movie was hilarious. Other bits such as Squid's father, "not the navy!", our world, and more make this a worthy episodd of top 10 contention and I thought I'd never see the day where it would actually happen.

I didn't have it on as I prefer a few other season one episodes that beat it out, but Pizza Delivery is still one of if not the best episodes exploring the SpongeBob/Squidward dynamic. From Squidward not trusting the tidbit on moss to still defending him after being ticked off at the customer who
instead of being pissed off for waiting so longcan't work through a simple mistake or even have his own drink, it shows that while Squid can be cynical, he's not satan. In other eps he isn't as nice and he's harsher, even in this season, but seeing this rare moment for his character was pretty exciting. -
I prefer III but this one definitely has more than it's fair share of great moments. From BB going from justified pissed off sidekick to petty criminal to superpal and jokes like The Chief, Makeout Reef in general, hey man that's not cool, krabs only lighting half the store, the suits giving the powers (Mermaid Man begins a real continuity destroyer) and them all sucking ass as heroes, this episode stands out a lot and while I don't think I'll ever have it top 15, it making the list is justified and it has been in my top 50 before even though I'm unsure where I'd rank it now.

Depending on the day, season one is on par with or better than season three. Season one's best are just as funny, gives a relaxed and unique atmosphere, and season 3's worst is far more notable than season one's, even if it's only a few episodes.

There are 16 mistakes on this list.

I'm cautiously optimistic, ZIM is a type of show that oddly enough works the way it is but any attempt to replicate it could easily be annoying and obnoxious, so my hopes aren't the absolute highest but given that they've been doing comics I at least trust that the writing will still be true to the characters and won't be rusty

Every year Krusty Towers makes the top 20, and every year I have the same reaction with two questions: "why?" and "what the hell am I missing?"

I for one am glad it passed despite sketchy circumstances so we can have shows like "Schools Should Keep God in Lesson Plans"!

All the previous three missed my list but are great episodes. Dunces had a fun medieval adventure, Sailor Mouth focused on something that felt like a parental lesson to a child, and Just One Bite was Squid's adamant denial making him look like a hypocrite. All are great but Nick for the love of god it's been 17 years, start airing the deleted scene again.

I can't connect to it on any level as I'm just not a rollercoaster fan so I'm left with an episode with a few admittedly nice jokes, but nothing that makes me think "this belongs in the top 50" whatsoever. The story is a standard "face your fears" one, and the jokes while decently funny, aren't really the best of the show. Maybe I'm being a bit harsh but this is the one I disagree with the most so far.

Ey this snuck on mine at 24th, still a spot off though so the entire list is wrong and complete garbage.

Anyone else beside me ever think this “spinoff” (and I use this term loosely) was trash back then?
The video SO was different so I honestly overlooked how trash it was and thought it'd be a fun thing if continued. In hindsight, not really.

HYSTS has always been in that "top 50 for sure, but I think it barely misses my top 25" episodes and it's a shame. It's honestly one of the most complete episodes of the show. The emotional song, a strong plot, there's a few good jokes as well such as his obsession in needing to reach an insanely high paddleball number, and of course breaking into Squidward's house. Even though I didn't have it in my top 25 I completely understand anyone who does and it's shocking to see it be this low given it usually makes the top 15.
