  1. Oh wow, Fungus finally outside the bottom 5. I never got it being that bad so this is a nice change of pace.

The Splinter is far from being the 15th worst in the show, would barely belong in the bottom 25 depending on how boring the middle segment is to people, and the grossout isn't even that bad after a re-watch or two to get used to it. It should not be this high, and I will say that forever. I'm fine with it making the bottom 50 but at least ten spots below this one.

  2. ATG is still horrendous, will never change.

Boating Buddies isn't "so bad it's good" but more "so bad it's interesting" and that kept it off of mine, there were dumb scenes like Squidward just getting injured by that one guy from the bathroom, but this episode has this air to it where I can't really fully hate it even though I should.

  3. LYB at 28 is fitting, it shows utter stupidity by the citizens in the purest form.

TLAP dropped off way too hard, 27th despite 10 list appearences huh? Tough crowd but I'd rather have it be closer to bottom 5/10 again than be this low on here, it's horrendous in nearly every aspect and is so nonsensical even for this show.

  4. This episode does tend to get overlooked in terms of being the best of season 3, but I'd honestly say it pulls its weight throughout with a solid story, clever humor, chili, and the ending of it being a loop was executed flawlessly as well.

  5. I've said this before on here but I'd rather do this in a clearer way since my 2015 self wasn't the best at fully elaborating.

This episode....really isn't good. The beginning is fine enough as is, nothing too special for pre-movie besides the song though, but that ending is complete and utter garbage. Squidward has legitimate reasons to believe that the sea-bear doesn't exist, simply wants to prove this to SpongeBob and Patrick so they aren't scared and so he can sleep, and what does he get for it? Getting mauled, multiple times nevertheless. Then the sea rhino comes in at the end just to imply that he gets it even worse because "haha seeing Squidward get brutally maimed multiple times in a row is funny and not at all sad" and cements this as my second least favorite pre-movie episode.

I really don't get how this one gets a free pass from people, I know humor is subjective and the rest of the episode can definitely be seen as funny but that ending is the absolute furthest thing I can think of from being humorous.. The only saving grace is that all of the attacking is done off screen so we only hear it. I don't truly hate this one but when the episode is given "Squidward Gets Mauled" as a working temporary title, one that it was deadset on making work as an effective title, I can't really respect it, and if it weren't for Pranks a Lot I'd have this as the worst pre-movie episode without a doubt. This one deserves absolutely no free passes whatsoever, and I'm baffled at the praise that it gets.

  6. 30: Insulting piece of garbage and everything in it exists to push forward a bunch of repetitive bullshit, don't need to say any further

29: Made mine at 14th for doing nothing with Shuffleboarding, basically acting as clickbait, just for....laundry shenanigans and them over-doing everything as vigilantes, because they totally have everything out for all of the citizens and would definitely stretch their beliefs into imprisoning them all while on patrol. This and Professor Squidward make up my least favorite episode pairing of the show with Keep Bikini Bottom Beautiful/A Pal for Gary being a very close second.

  7. Despite all that it does, Are You Happy Now just seems like another piece of the bland puzzle that's known as season 8. It's weird to talk about because it definitely has bad qualities and it did screw up in certain areas, but it can't stand out to me at all.

Pineapple Fever is one I'll say that isn't bad. I can see it irking people but I really couldn't fathom putting it in my bottom 25, it tried to do things within the environment being everyone going crazy inside a closed space and it never came across as forced, and I never saw it as "Squidward torture" besides the beginning as everyone drove each other crazy. The worst bit was the middle really being stretched out but that's the only thing that gets too annoying. Guess the ending can drive some people insane but by that point I really wasn't caring too much.

  8. CN decided to give another ThunderCats reboot a chance despite being the ones to purposefully ditch a 2011 reboot which was apparently doing quite well on its' own...and then the artstyle for this one seems to be following their TTG/Ben10/OK KO trend

I can't say I'm looking too forward to this at all, but it could always surprise. ?

How hard is it to find politicians with enough of a spine and conscience that they will do everything in their power to prevent children dying

It's easy, to get ones that finally care about the people, we just need to bribe them with ore money that they get from telecoms and gun lobbyists!

The saddest bit is just how transparent they are and they're still able to get away with it, if they're not voted out the issue lies in the people voting for them despite the issue being extremely clear just as well.

  10. This is a surprisingly nice episode, for season 1 which is a bit weaker, everything hits with the jokes like telling Squidward to get into a coffin or having him float up to land in the ending and he gets his just desserts for essentially treating SpongeBob and Patrick like slaves, thus making the somewhat darker jokes funny even though the context isnt close to Nasty Patty in how dark the jokes become. This is a solid episode and while I'm not as high on it as I was in the past, this does have a special place as one of my absolute favorites when I was a kid.

  11. Cent of Money is perennially in that spot of just being off my list due to not being as memorable as the rest even though it should be. I don't know what exactly it is that keeps me from putting it on my list, but it just never stands out enough to finally make it.

I flat out disagree with Tears being on the list at all. It was only repetitive for the first few minutes and I'm fine with that since it set up an actual solid narrative, even if SpongeBob hasn't been too much of a crybaby in the past he's had some moments especially in Post Movie so it doesn't feel too forced for the plot either. There was some solid interactions between him and Squidward without Squidward being overtly mean while still losing and facing a completely fair "punishment" with a nice ironic ending, plus Mr. Krabs standing on his desk holding his money like that was hilarious.

I do not understand how anyone could put this on their list at all and given the placement as well as other infamous ones I disagree with like Face Freeze and Good Neighbors being low, I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up being the one I disagree with the most.

  12. 40: Jesus H Christ come on now

This episode isn't really bad, it lacks a bit of substance and it could get a bit grating, but I wouldn't even think about putting it in the bottom 50 unless I legitimately forgot a few episodes beforehand, the faces weren't really that bad and even if they were I can't fathom hating them enough to put it on the list. At least the placement is much more reasonable than last time's.

39: I...don't get the hate for it. Definitely a bad episode, but no matter what I do there's no way I could bring myself to hate it either, I could get it being on the outskirts of the list in the 45-50 range but being in the bottom 40 doesn't sit too well with me.

  13. I had neither on my list, but I was still honestly expecting both to show up higher. Whatever Happened to is another "special" in which absolutely nothing interesting happens whatsoever, and Pet Sitter has pretty much the same flaws as A Pal For Gary to a lesser extent. If the rest of the episode wasn't so completely middle of the road as par as the course is for season 8, then it would've made mine as even though the flamethrower scene is nearly just as stupid as "Put Puffy Fluffy down!", it definitely wasn't dragged on as much and was at least not directly tied into the ending. I'd still put Pet Sitter in the 25-40 range though, it should definitely be higher than this.
