  1. Well, I didn't expect Planet of The Jellyfish to be on the worst list, let alone 3rd. I see your point, though, it is a B-Movie plot. As in, a movie's plot. It feels like the episode is trying to execute a movie's worth of story into an 11-minute episode. It felt awkward. Aside from that, I still enjoyed how fun everything is, so I disagree. Oral Report, on the other hand, is really good, so I have no complaints.

EDIT: 'kay, so apparently, I didn't know there was a 2nd page. Turns out the list's finished.

  2. Atlantis SquarePantis - Well, y'know... though, in retrospect, I feel like I'm more disappointed than disgusted at this episode. Cause, it's not really, objectively the worst episode, but it is by far the show's greatest failure, in terms of squandered opportunity. So much potential, and what do they come up with? A freaking musical. I will never forgive those who thought of it.

Pineapple Fever - The most annoying. The most pointless. One of the least entertaining. It's just a train wreck from start to finish. A boring one at that, if it's even possible.

A Day Without Tears - Weak, pointless, but not that bad. Though that telephone call between Pat and SpongeBob in the middle of the episode is top cringe.

Good Neighbors - I think, in retrospect, it's a little underrated. It is irritating, but there are some parts which are genuinely funny. Squidward's outrage, which includes him stomping on fezzes is absolutely hilarious, and though SpongeBob and Patrick are abnormaly (at least at the time) thick, they are still well-intentioned.

  3. The Card felt like an old Mr. Magoo cartoon, and that's bad because Mr. Magoo's kinda lame. I don't think it's really that bad, but it's not good, and it's certainly not worth a second viewing. Way too one dimensional for a 21st century cartoon.

Tentacle Vision is like watching a train falling off a cliff. It just fizzled out from a barely cohesive story to the most random shit. The episode would've been annoying but coherent had it kept it's early screenplay with just the 3 MC's.

  4. The same problem that SpongeBob is still trying to fix since the middle of season 4; a lack of jokes. As I said before:

The difference between season 9 and seasons 2 and 3 is that the former seems to use the story to build up the jokes while the latter seasons (2 & 3) used the story as a platform to tell as many jokes possible.

Luckily, season 9 actually did some inventive stories which made the episodes at least interesting and engaging, whilst seasons 6-7 seems to fill out the episode with repepetitive jokes and unfunny, unnecessary banter. Just look at episodes like Dear Vikings and Pineapple Fever. Two episodes so lacking in creativity and thought that it felt like the characters in those episodes were looking at each other going "so... what do we do now?"

  5. I'm just going to be honest, I didn't really think the first movie was that special. It's a good movie, there's no doubt about it, but I just think it's not as good as I definitely hoped for when I first saw it. I think it's a little too mellow, a little too slow, or heck, a little too mature for a show like SpongeBob. There are a lot of strong themes and emotional moments sprinkled around it. There's nothing wrong with that, heck, it's actually good, but I would prefer a nonsensical, cheesy, high-tempo, madness of a movie, jam-packed with utterly crazy visuals and a really creatively out-there plot. Which is what the second movie is.

In that sense, I guess the first movie is 'objectively' a better-made movie, but the second is a much purer entertainment.

  6. This is just after the scene with the sea monster;

    SpongeBob: "Uhhh... somebody went?"

Then, the people started mumbling about how disgusting it is but Scooter's reply takes the cake.

  7. - The best part about the episode is the incredible amount of suspense over something so small and (supposedly) unimportant.

    - Giving Patrick a suspenseful crisis to try and solve will produce comedic brilliance and get the best out of the character.

    - The ending is a little bit of a Deus ex Machina, but I'll give it a pass cause it's still comprehensible (and hilarious).

    - The first act of the episode (with Squidward) was amusing, but doesn't really do much from a storytelling perspective.

    Overall: 8/10. Phenomenal comedy.

  8. Bland entertainment =/= Good mindless entertainment

Good mindless entertainment is fun. Entertainment can not be bland and fun at the same time. Bland implies boring, and boring is the exact opposite of fun.

Apologies for my flawed terminology. When I said it was bland, I was judging the movie's deeper levels. Like the narrative and the characters.

  9. Extreme Spots 6/10

    Squirrel Record 6,5/10

    Patrick-Man 7,5/10

    Gary's New Toy 7/10

    License to Milkshake 6/10

    Squid Baby 3/10

    Little Yellow Book 5,5/10

    Bumper to Bumper 5/10

    Eek an Urchin! 8/10

    Squid Defense 6,5/10

    Jailbreak! 8/10

    Evil Spatula 8/10

    Safe Deposit Krabs 7/10

    Plankton's Pet 7,5/10

    Don't Look Now 6,5/10

    Séance Shméance 6,5/10

    Spongebob You're Fired 4/10

It Came From Goo Lagoon 6,5/10

    Kenny The Cat 6,5/10

    Yeti Krabs Haven't seen it

    Lost in Bikini Bottom 6/10

    Tutor Sauce 8/10

    Best: Jailbreak!

One of the best Plankton episodes in the entire series. Great fun, great action, and a very creative use of chum.

    Worst: Squid Baby

I could've (and should've) been watching Rock-a-Bye Bivalve. What a stupid premise, by the way.

Overall, pretty decent. I'd say it's an improvement from season 8.

  10. That would be a horrible idea TBH.

Well, I mean the characters do act age-appropriately. :P

It was a joke really. I'm just saying the biggest problem plaguing TTG! is it's immaturity, and it's shadowed with the grandness of it's predecessor. So having the "Nick Jr." badge on it would give it a reason to be childish and silly.

  11. 1 Teen Titans Go! Would be tolerable if it was on Nick Jr.

2 Breadwinners It's just handpicked shit on the internet, and the overall production quality shows.

3 Sanjay And Craig Pathetic levels of creativity. Incompetent character designs. Otherwise, it's fine.

4 Harvey Beaks Have just seen it a couple of times. It's fine.

5 Pig Goat Banana Cricket Haven't seen it.

6 Future Worm!(this show right here was very unnecicary) Haven't seen it.
