  1. I LOVED this clay-mation and stop-motion Christmas special. After a year and a half of waiting it finally came and I'm very satisfied. I thought the clay-mation was beautiful and so wonderful... some of you call it weird and ugly which I clearly don't see but I call it a work of art and amazing. It was very funny, I thought the musical numbers were very catchy especially "Don't Be a Jerk, It's Christmas" and after hearing about a 2nd Christmas special last year, I said to myself "Okay they have to play Don't Be a Jerk, It's Christmas in this special,,, they just have to" and my wish came true. I LOVED the song ever since that commercial in 2009 and I still love it now. John Goodman was a FANTASTIC guest star as Santa Claus even though his part is short and doesn't appear until near the end of the special but I'm still please with this guest-voice role. The characters in clay-mation form were amazing and very unique. The DVD will definitely be in my Christmas list because I wanna get it now. LOVED this special, no words can describe how much I loved it and it's just as amazing as the original Christmas special. Only nit-pick would be that it ended just a tad bit too quickly, It's a Must-See in my opinion most definitely.

  2. im new here but i liked this episode a lot. great idea and weve all been waiting for spongebob to finally get his liscence. oh well. maybe one day!

    hey tigerdude22 its Pnest from tv.com!

    Good to see you in this website man. Welcome!!!
  3. I've been too lazy to post here so im late here :D haha Anyways, I wasn't looking forward to this episode worrying Mrs. Puff would be mean like she was in Demolition Doofus. I'm watching this dreading it and it was actually WAY better than I expected. I enjoyed this episode. The storyline was sooooooooooooo good. There were some funny moments. The desert backgrounds with SpongeBob driving is awesome and the last few minutes with SpongeBob reckless driving and spinning around the road was a very exciting ride. My only complaint was the ending. Like seriously??? why can't SpongeBob just have his license starting from this episode??? Mrs. Puff was happy, SpongeBob was happy, and I was happy. Then the cop had to come and rip up SpongeBob's license. I really hate the writers feel the need to just continue SpongeBob failing... let him have the damn license already. :/ All-in-all, I enjoyed everything about this episode except for the ending.

  4. Cracked me up so hard :) Probably the best and funniest Patrick episode since "Patrick's Staycation". :) Everything about it was so freakin' hilarious. Patrick's superhero suit was creative and awesome. It was hilarious how FOR ONCE it wasn't SpongeBob that put Mrs. Puff in jail... it was PATRICK-MAN :D lol Good to see The Dirty Bubble again and I LOVED the cameo appearance by MermaidMan, BarnacleBoy, and ManRay :) Hope this is NOT Ernest Borgnine's final episode though.

    So definitely 10 out of 10

  5. * Written by: Marc, Luke and Mr. Lawrence

    * Clean up that ketchup, SpongeBob!

    * It's amazing what you find under a grill...a skull..and an urchin?!

    * SEA URCHIN! Like Box said, this is the first time we have seen urchins since way back to Nature Pants in Season 1.

    * Standing on the grill might not be the best idea..

    * Wow, that is one strong critter!

    * Lol Squidward, you are a terrible guard.

    * Ew, an urchin patty.

    * Now an Urchin Soda.

    * Urchin fries..

    * AAAH! AN URCHIN!

    * Wow, Plankton's first appearance in Season 9 (not counting the cameo in Gary's New Toy).

    * Lol even Plankton is scared.

    * Killer death robot?

    * Wow, that sure is a scary robot.

    * Lol at the Mr. Krabs ringtone on the robot.

    * Even the robot can't catch the urchin..

    * The urchin spits his tongue at you!

    * Mr. Krabs' skin got ripped off again..

    * You really think so, Plankton?

    * ME MONEY!

    * I had a feeling Squidward's cactus would be used to defeat the urchin.

    * Lol Plankton.

    * 100% humilating.

    * Hey there handsome, Plankton you player.

    * 100 URCHINS!

    * Note to Mr. Krabs: Please clean out the bottom of your grill in the future.

    * That was a little mean of Mr. Krabs.

    * So cold slows down urchins?

    * This reminds me of Krabs a la Mode, with the restaurant being frozen. The thermostat is still intact, too.

    * Is this far enough?

    * Farther!

    * THE KELP FOREST! :o

    * Lol at the ending. xD

    * Funny episode, with nice callbacks to older episodes (Kelp Forest, Urchins, the Krusty Krab thermostat).

    Grade: A-

    Not to correct you but Plankton's first Season 9 appearance was actually in "Squirrel Record". :) He made a cameo in that Season 9 PREMIERE. :)

  6. Holy crap!!! holy crap!!! holy crap!!! I LOVED this special so far. This is by far the BEST SpongeBob special that I have ever seen since "Friend Or Foe". :) It was funny in some moments, the musical numbers were amazing especially that touching musical number near the end of the special. It was just awesome as a whole and SpongeBob and Squidward sounded good together. But wait, Squidward knows how to play the clarinet perfectly now??? o_O curious

    Andy Samberg guest-voices in this special as Colonel Carper, concert promoter

  7. SpongeBob is supposed to be a comedy, so I disagree with you saying there shouldn't be humor. Honestly, I don't think it was original. The theme of someone going to an academy isnt unique at all; maybe it's original to the show, but not in general. Frankly, I'm tired of episodes comprising of montages. To me, that doesn't constitute an episode as "well written" or "unique." This episode had potential, but absolutely fell flat by resorting to old habits like using montages to fill up airtime.

    Yeah, you're right. The show is a comedy so it should have a lot of humor but I honestly didn't expect from this episode. To me it's original but I do respect your opinion though and I do see where you're getting at with montages. This show doesn't really do montages a lot though. Sorry you hated the episode.

  8. I think mostly everyone felt like the show took a different turn with this episode. It was out of the ordinary. Personally I thought it was a cool twist. There was new characters and background fish. Rock montage music? Seems like Regular Show to me and it's really cool. The scene with SpongeBob riding a motorcycle was awesome. Personally I liked it. I liked the ending too when SpongeBob noted that he wished getting his driving license was that easy. :P Also the title card and "Twenty Years Earlier" card were both colorful.

    8.9/10

    Yeah true but still, it wasn't a weak episode at all. How in the heck was this episode weak? saw nothing weak about it at all. The show doesn't really need humor in every single episode to be awesome, just as long as it's well written, creative, original, and very enjoyable. That's so funny you said that because when I was first watching the montage, I said to myself "Regular Show?" :D haha At least I'm not the only one but that rock background music they used was totally badass. There were a few funny lines in this episode and I agree the title cards were colorful especially the title card for this episode. :)
  9. It's extremely disappointing seeing some people on this forums either hating the episode or just not enjoying the episode that much. :( I LOVED this episode and I thought it was better than "Squid Baby" and "The Good Krabby Name". Sure, the episode doesn't have a lot of laugh-worthy moments or just no laugh-wortthy moments in general but the storyline was very well written and it was very creative too. For those of you saying it's not original, well it actually is very original. Think about it? we don't see an episode about there being an academy for making milkshakes. That's like one of the most creative ideas in cartoon history in my opinion. I thought the montage was pure awesomeness too. I'm surprised that they don't play their usual Hawaiian background for montages but that rock background music they used matched well with the montage. I also thought it was pretty nice seeing Captain Frostymug's past about his incident when he worked at the milkshake place 20 years ago. This episode exceeded my expectations big time and I think it's the best Season 9 episode SO FAR in my opinion. I LOVED it slightly more than "Extreme Spots" and "Squirrel Record". Michael McKean also did an excellent job voicing Captain Frostymug.... that character was strict yet funny and enjoyable. I applaud hard for the writers with this episode, I loved it so much that I already watched it like 5 times. :)

  10. This episode was great but strange and a little too strange in my opinion. It's not the best episode I've ever seen and nowhere near to being perfect plus it got pretty boring in some of the moments but for what it was given. It's a greatly decent episode to watch.

  11. I LOVE this show. I really don't get into shows like these and it's one of the few drama blah blah blah shows that I actually watch. It's a crime/drama show that stars Bryan Cranston (from "Malcolm in the Middle and from movies like "Total Recall", "John Carter", "Red Tails", "Contagion", and more) and Aaron Paul. It's seriously the best crime/drama show that I have ever seen. It is very entertaining but if you're one of those people that thinks it's slow and all that stuff then it probably isn't the show for you. It does have its violent moments which gets intense plus the show, as a whole, is awesome and unpredictable plus can be funny from time to time.

    Anyone else here seen this show besides me? If so, please me your thoughts on BB :)

  12. Well you posted three times in a row trying to respond to every post above. You can actually multi-quote and reply to multiple quotes at the same time within one post. If you can't get that down, you can also quote one user and copy and paste it into your reply and quote another user. Hope that helps. :)

    Okay, yeah that does help. Thank you for helping and I "Multi-quoted". :)
  13. It's because I made a thread for the first one two years ago. Oh and because I love movies in general and probably have made the most movie threads on this forum. :P

    Oh btw tigerdude, since you are new here and all, just thought I'd let you know we have a rule against multi-posting. You aren't in trouble or anything, but I thought I would just give you a friendly reminder. :)

    Oh that's cool that you love movies in general. I love to watch movies too. :)

    Also, what do you mean by "multi-posting"? is it if I QUOTE or post back on this forum topic more than once?

  14. Was it because I made a thread for the original two years ago? If I made a thread for every movie that I have seen or want to see, this forum would be overloaded with topics. :P

    Anywho, I can't wait to see it. The first was cheesy good fun and this looks more of the same.

    Just felt like making a thread about this since I've already saw the movie and wanted to give my brief review on this website. :) That's cool that you made a thread for the original. :)
  15. Anyone else in the SpongeBob community seen "The Expendables 2"? Tell Me Your Thoughts If You've Seen It. :)

    I saw the sequel and I LOVED it. Better action, better storyline, better direction, better acting, and better humor. The movie was just hilarious and action-packed all the way through. :)
