well, after eight months, the newest episode of BBA is finally here!!
it's 14 minutes long, and it's probably the biggest creative work i've ever made.

hey video embeds work again (well they were fixed like a month ago but i don't come here often :P) so now you can watch all BBA episodes from the safety of your forum!
also production on episode 4 has started, and i'm planning to get a lot done over the halloween break! no idea when it'll be done though - like everything else in BBA, it'll come out of nowhere

A surreal, absurdist parody/celebration of the plush-toy video artform.
SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward live in Bikini Bottom, and spend most of their time doing nothing. Occasionally, things happen. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward observe things happening in Bikini Bottom and react to them. Sometimes they do not react to them. Sometimes these things are dangerous. Sometimes the characters themselves are the danger. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward do not realize they are plush toys and that this is not Bikini Bottom and that they are in great danger. They will realize soon. SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidward have lots of fun in Bikini Bottom.
All episodes are improvised, filmed, and edited on location in Bikini Bottom, by William Leonard.

i'm interested in posting a live-action spongebob spin-off i'm making (using plush toys) on this site, but would the spin-off/lit forum be the right place for it? my series is structured in an episodic format like regular spin-offs, but this forum seems to host purely written material, whereas visual spongebob-related stuff goes in the arts forum.
i plan on posting each new episode as i make them by just embedding them from the series' youtube channel. (of course i'll have to wait until video embeds are fixed before i can do that lol)

just started watching this webseries, literally two days after it ended (whoops!) and man, i'm glad i did. this show is hilarious.
it's the epitome of 'crudely-made' - there's barely any animation, nothing makes any sense, i'm certain the dialogue was just improvised in a Skype call or something - but it does 'crudely-made' SO WELL. every episode leaves me laughing. definitely a must-watch if you like weird comedy.

THE BEST DAY EVER, ALL THE WAY.
i love this album so much. i even wrote a massive review of it over on RYM once. it does everything that every single other novelty cartoon record in history has fallen short at, and that is being actually well-produced, hilariously written, and so much fun to listen to. it's like a love letter to the lavish pop music of the late 60s-early 70s, wrapped inside a spongebob-shaped parcel, with incredibly funny songs that each fit the character singing them, and a very cool radio show concept behind it all that actually seems like something out of a spongebob episode. you can tell instantly that everyone involved with this project gave it all the love they could.
also brian wilson sings in it. brian actual wilson sings backing vocals on Doin' The Krabby Patty. (i just find this fact extremely cool and heartwarming okay)

i had one burger from burger king once and it tasted really drab and blah, like they forgot to put sauce in it or something.
but honestly that's most likely just my limited experience. i'll see if i can try out BK again sometime - but for now, mcdonalds will have to win by default (though i very rarely go there)

it would be interesting to have a separate 'open terrain' map alongside the current superflat map. at the moment, doing stuff like hills or rivers/water structures is very difficult due to there being only five block layers to work with
i think it would be cool to also have a 'normal' creative map and see what kind of things we could make in a typical minecraft landscape. (or just make it plain ol' survival, that could be fun too )
though how would that be implemented? would it be possible to switch between the maps with server commands? or would there have to be a separate server just to host another map?

managed to get shaders to work, so took a few pictures of things i've made in spongecraft!
