For SBC's yearly April Fools prank, Disney took over the site. Throughout this half of the year, SBC's forums saw a huge dip in activity not seen since 2012 and 2014's dry periods, however, the Discord remained much more popular and active in comparison. This is chalked up to mostly forums becoming obsolete now, but nonetheless, the staff discussed what they could with members in attempts to rejuvenate activity on the forums. A new video game themed event, [[Arcade Anarchy]], took the place of Spin-Off Festival this year, lasting from May 22nd, 2020 to June 14th, 2020. The event served as a tie-in for the remaster of Battle for Bikini Bottom.
