 On October 9, 2015, the Lottery received an update as part of the doubloons update for [[Starfish 11]]. Buying tickets became its own store item, and you could still buy up to 5 tickets daily, but you could only enter in one number from 1 to 1,000 per ticket (instead of choosing 3 numbers per ticket), and the closest one is the winner. The lottery from there on only gave 500 doubloons, and does not increase if more tickets are bought. A widget showed on the forum displaying the latest lottery winner.
