Turntable

Turntable.fm is a music sharing website that the SpongeBob Community originally used for music parties. The first ever Turntable party was on April 27th, 2012. Its cosmetic avatars and laptop stickers were some of its most well known features. It closed on December 2nd, 2013 at 10pm EST.

The website was revived in early 2021 and became SBC's official music platform again with Jellyfish 14 on April 3, 2021. In June 2025, SBC moved on from turntable again due to frequent issues with Universal Music Group blocking songs and other outdated aspects. The final party was held June 6th, 2025 as part of Pretty Patty Pride 2025 and music parties moved to QueUp afterwards.

2013 Closing SBC Turntable Event

On November 29th, 2013 at 8pm EST, a final SBC party was hosted by MDPP, the person who first started Turntable parties on SBC, in the original SBC Turntable party room. It turned out to be a hit: it lasted for more than 7 hours, the longest period of time SBC ever had for a Turntable party, and had the most SBC members in it.

On December 2nd, 2013, Jelly started up a Turntable party in the "Fantastic Four" Turntable room, a historic SBC room, to celebrate the remaining hour of Turntable.
