Summer Knights Medieval Moments |
Summer Knights was a brand new forum event. It was set around a medieval theme, based on the episode "Dunces & Dragons" from SpongeBob. hilaryfan80 came up with the event idea, while JCM coined the name of it. It started August 12, 2016 and ended August 29, 2016.
Events
Dunces & Dragons
Dunces & Dragons (from April Fools 2016) returned during the event, held every Sunday (August 14th, 21st and 28th) at 7 PM EST. This was the final version of it, which differed slightly from the preview at April Fools.

SpongeBob Jeopardy!
Although not fully related, the Jeopardy game on August 20th, 2016, was SpongeBob time travel episode themed, which included Dunces & Dragons. The winner was Trophy.
SpongeBob Wheel of Fortune
The game on August 19th, 2016 was Dunces & Dragons themed, which Homestuck won.

Medieval Story Contest
A story contest where users could submit a medieval themed story. Submissions lasted from August 12th, 2016 to August 28th, 2016. The only person to submit one was Fa, so his story won by default. He received 2,000 doubloons, 20 reputation points (aka likes), and half off a store item of choice.
Medieval Art Contest
For the first time since 2014, another art contest was held. The objective was to draw (can be digital or hand-drawn) a medieval SpongeBob image. Submissions lasted from August 12th, 2016 to August 24th, 2016. The only person to submit one was Cha, so her image won by default. She received a special Medieval Artist badge, 2,000 doubloons, and 20 reputation points (aka likes).
All-Knighter
An All-Nighter was held August 13th, 2016, which Homestuck stayed up the longest for.
Squidly's Music Festival
An SBC Music party held on August 26th, 2016. The user who received the most likes by the end of the hour was Katniss, with 6 likes for "Viva la Vida" by Coldplay.
Cards Against Humanity
A Cards Against Humanity game was held on August 29th, 2016, which Fred Rechid won, receiving 1,000 doubloons.
Mini-Games
Similar to Spin-Off Festival 6, there were a few mini-games in the forum you could play in.
Sword Battle Tournament
In this mini-game, a tournament was held where users could duel each other in a sword fight, using a random generator to determine the outcomes. 8 users competed, with the final two being SpongeOddFan and Sandy. In the end, Sandy won the final match, receiving 4,000 doubloons, a free Steel Sword, SpongeBob Knight icon, and Expert Swordsman badge.
Target Shoot
In this mini-game, you had to shoot at a target, and a generator would determine what you earn. Your shot can either miss or hit the target. If it hit, the outcomes were: white (gives you nothing), black (gives you 100 doubloons), blue (gives you Archer Hat), red (gives you Squidly icon), or yellow (gives you Dark Knight icon).
Magic Cauldron Stirring
In this mini-game, you have to stir a magic cauldron, and whichever color the water turns will give you something, or possibly hurt you. The outcomes are: blue (gives you Wizard's Hat), green (gives you Planktonamor icon), red (gives you 250 doubloons), gold (gives you 500 doubloons), brown (gives you a piece of mutton), orange (gives you a Krabby Patty), purple (makes you lose 200 doubloons), or black (makes Storm become your avatar).
Daily Joust
In this mini-game, users could face each other in a joust every 24 hours. They would select a member to face, and the outcome would be randomly generated. The winner would receive 500 doubloons.
Store
16 new iFish items were added to the store for the event. A lot of them are based on "Dunces & Dragons", which were created by Cha and smoothed out by hilaryfan80. The list is as follows:
