SBC's Top 50 Best Episodes Ever is a fan-voted countdown in 2013, compiling lists of member's favorite episodes of SpongeBob SquarePants. This was the second year this was hosted, the first being in 2011, however this was the first time the list was successful, getting nearly 200 replies and 100,000 views. The topic is once again hosted by Wumbo.

• This list did not allow additional commentary from members, not even by Wumbo himself most of the time. This was added in future editions to provoke discussion.
• The list was so successful that it promoted the creation of many more countdowns from members, including some fan-voted ones that didn't get attention. The only one that had much staying power was a spin-off called "SBC's Top 50 Worst Episodes" create by Clappy, designed to complement this list.
• This is the last year the countdown was hosted where any episode was on only ONE person's submitted list. (Most of the 40's)
• "Truth or Square" made the list at #31. However, on the worst list, it made #50. This was the only episode that year to make both lists.
• Obviously the list consisted of mostly pre-movie, considering nostalgia and overall quality. The only post-movie episodes that made it were "Krusty Towers" at #10, "Have You Seen this Snail?" at #15, "It's a SpongeBob Christmas!" at #27, "Truth or Square" at #31, and "Fear of a Krabby Patty at #33.
• Only "Band Geeks" and "Chocolate with Nuts," at #1 and #4 respectively, received multiple #1 votes.
• Somehow, "Sailor Mouth" didn't even make anyone's list that year, to the shock of many.
