SBC March Madness 2018 was the sixth March Madness in SBC history, which lasted from March 1st, 2018 to March 31st, 2018. The site's teams, the Band Geeks, Drasticals, and Independents, faced off once more.

Five games this month counted for the event. The first one, "Welcome to the Jam" on March 2nd, 2018 was a Basketball Players themed game which Homie won for the Drasticals. The second one, "Madness Ensues" on March 9th, 2018 was a March Madness themed game which spongeboblover won for the Band Geeks. The third one, "Feeling of Green" on March 16th, 2018 was a St. Patrick's Day themed game which Fred Rechid won for the Band Geeks. The fourth one, "Disney King" on March 23rd, 2018 was a Disney themed game which jjsthekid won for Independents. Five games this month counted on the scoreboard. The first one, "Jeopardy Season 6 Edition" on March 3rd, 2018 was won by Hayden, Homie & Cream for the Drasticals. The second one, "The Jeopardy Awards VI" on March 10th, 2018 was won by Trophy for the Band Geeks. The third one, "An Idiot's Luck" on March 17th, 2018 was a St. Patrick's Day and Patrick Star themed game which was won by JCM for the Band Geeks. Four games this month counted on the scoreboard. The first game, "Kingdoms of Jjs World" on March 4th, 2018 was won by Hayden and SpongeOddFan for the Drasticals. The second game, "Legendary Beasts" on March 11th, 2018 was won by Hayden and MDPP for the Drasticals. The third game, "On Your Marks...Get Set...Go!" on March 18th, 2018 was won by SpongeOddFan for the Drasticals. The fourth game, "Is Mystery" on March 25th, 2018 was won by SpongeOddFan for the Drasticals.
SpongeBob Whodunnit?
Whodunnit returned again for March Madness. The goal this time was to figure out figure out stole SpongeBob's jellyfishing trophy. The following characters were suspects: SpongeBob, Gary, Patrick, Mr. Krabs, Larry, Squidward, Sandy, Bubble Bass and Kevin the Sea Cucumber. On select days during the event, the characters came on and released their anecdote on what happened. The characters would also come on to answer user's questions as well in their topics. Users had to PM jjs who they think the culprit is. On March 31st, the culprit was revealed to be Mr. Krabs. The winners who correctly guessed (MDPP, Cream, Homie, Hayden, SpongeOddFan, Ol Bold and Brash, TheOpenWindowManiac, Trophy, Fred Rechid, Spongetron, NegiSpongie and 4EverGreen) received 3,000 doubloons each and a point for their teams on the scoreboard.

Salty Spittoon iFish Contest
Another iFish contest. Users had to submit a fish that's either a sporty, March themed, or a mix of both. Whoever had the best was judged by Jackie Chan. The winner was Hayden's fish, who received 1,500 doubloons, a point for the Drasticals, and a half off a store item of choice
Easter Egg Hunt 2018
Another easter egg hunt was held from March 16th, 2018 to March 31st, 2018. Whoever found all 7 eggs gained a point for their team, 500 doubloons, and a SpongeBob Egg icon to display in their portfolio.
