Literatures

Literatures are stories made by SBC users that do not relate to SpongeBob Squarepants, like Spin-Offs do. They share a board with Spin-Offs called Spin-Offs and Literature. Lits are most popular for being about SBC users in some different world or setting (And Then There Were Less, SBC Parallel Universe, etc). Literatures can either be originial stories or non-SB fanfics. Throughout SBC's history, literatures have intertwined heavily with spin-Off culture, with the lines between the two often being blurred (Down Under, CDCB's Bikini Bottom Adventures, etc). In recent years, the SBC literature genre has been phased out in favor of general non-SpongeBob related works.
