HawkbitAlpha (formerly ACSBehemothHellcat and Prince Darkstar) is an SBC member who originally joined the community in May 2011, but was permabanned from the site for much of the 2010s until his surprise return in 2018. Today, he remains as an active Loyal Customer.
Having initially discovered SBC at 11 years old, Hawk's arrival on the site was marked by his immaturity and willingness to constantly argue with other members, which led to him being banned in July 2011 (following a fiery Xat argument) after being a member for only two months. Later, in October 2012, he was allowed to return, but was banned again in April 2013 for the same reasons. While trolls are nothing new to the community, Hawk was one of the most notable in earlier SBC history, as he was (especially during his first ban) very forceful about his contempt for the site while staying on SpongeBuddy Mania. This reputation made him a popular choice of a villain in numerous SBC Lits throughout the mid-2010s.
Following his brief return in late 2012 and early 2013, Hawk remained banned from SBC for several years, and established himself as an active member of SBM in this time. While there, Hawk's reputation began to turn around in 2017, due in part to his growing influence on SBM as the founder and then-owner of the site's now-official Discord chat. Finally, in March 2018, several days after making an unsanctioned appearance on the SBC Discord, Hawk was unbanned for the final time on SBC, announcing his unexpected return with the thread "HELLO, PROCRASTINATORS". After resigning from his position as owner of the SBM Discord two months later, he would also become one of many members to be banned from SBM in December 2018 for protesting the site in the wake of the Third SBC Renaissance.
Today, Hawk, a political science major, is most well-known among both older and newer members of SBC for popularizing politics discussions on the site, beginning in late 2018; his direct, often caustic libertarian-leftist and post-capitalist rhetoric has been cited by numerous members as an influence on their own views shifting leftward. Hawk's investment in discussing and defending his ideas led to him winning the final three iterations of SBC's GCA Best Debater award in 2018-2020, before said award was ended in 2021. Though mainly active in the YSFlight Headquarters community today, he continues to make fairly regular appearances on the SBC Discord and forums, as well as various other Discord servers made up of current and inactive SBC members.
Also known for such antics as livestreaming plays of Portal 2 co-op with frenemy and "Homophobia" "star" The DS Guy, and more notably, becoming a "late-bloomer brony" in August 2020 after taking a friend's suggestion to watch MLP: FiM, well after the heyday of the brony firestorm. Some things, you really just can't predict.
