Timeline

January to March

The beginning of the year saw Lead Admin Aquatic Nuggets pass on his position to Jjsthekid. A new Stop What You Are Doing was held from January 9, 2015 to January 16, 2015, with the theme of celebrities. On January 30, 2015, a new SBC feature called SpongeCraft was released. During March, SBC did a third March Madness event using the teams from the 2014 Drafts. The event was very successful and generated a lot of activity. The event was ultimately won by the Band Geeks, although the Drasticals lost by just one point, making it the closest a losing team has ever been to the winning team in the history of the event on SBC. During March, the 6th GCA's also occurred, hosted by jjs.

April to July

On April 11th, 2015, users had a throwback Saturday and bumped tons of old topics from SBC's 2010/2011 days, which generated lots of activity. On May 2nd, 2015, a new skin called Jellyfish Fields was released by JCM. The Spin-Off Festival returned with Spin-Off Festival 5, which was announced May 14, 2015, as it started May 22, 2015 and ended June 12, 2015. It was a success and boosted activity in the Spin-Off section. On June 11, 2015, the 2nd version of SBC Music was launched, which now has incorporation with iFish (and iFish were also later incorporated into SpongeBob Jeopardy the same month). In June 2015 a new skin was released called "SBC", which uses a similar layout to Invision Power Board 4. On July 2, 2015, the Become a Mod for a Day item was removed from the Store due to many issues surrounding it. Throughout July, weekly tournaments were held every Friday night between teams on SpongeCraft, which the Band Geeks won. The 14th Stop What You Are Doing was held in July as well, in which users voted the theme. The winning theme was "Cartoon Characters", which lasted from July 20th to July 27th. On July 28th, Loyal Customers was re-introduced to SBC as a VIP group.

August to October

On August 3, 2015, SBC hit over 100 members online in a day, a site record, due to drama on SpongeBuddy Mania involving StormAllenBryat spamming the site. The current record is 107 people, which was reached August 4, 2015. A brand new forum event known as Camp SBC started August 14th and ended August 29, turning out to be a huge success. On September 16, 2015, it was announced SBC would be upgrading to Invision Power Board 4 by the end of the month. It was released September 25, 2015, as Starfish 11, the 11th version of SBC. From September 20, 2015 to October 2, 2015, a mod application was held to pick a new moderator. The winner was tyeamwork. Octerror Fest 2015 began October 16, 2015 and ended November 1, 2015, which was extremely successful.

November to December

The 7th GCA's begin, which are hosted by JCM. During November, a Season 9 Best Episode Tournament goes on, hosted by jjs, which boosts activity in SpongeBob Games. Early in the morning on December 2nd, 2015, (around 1 AM) anything past October 21, 2015 on the site was erased in a massive database failure. MDPP mostly restored all old posts, topics and doubloons earned in the period, but unfortunately, anything posted over Thanksgiving weekend was impossible to recover. Snowcember Ball 2015 began December 11, 2015 and ended December 30, 2015, which was another successful event. On December 25, 2015, MDPP announced the revival of SpongeBob Wheel of Fortune.
