Octerror Fest 2025
Octerror Fest 2025 is the fifteenth Octerror Fest for The SpongeBob Community, which began October 13, 2025 and will conclude on October 31, 2025. The candy contest returned again along with the Ghost Powers. Whoever had the most candy gathered by the end of the event would receive special rewards. Hooky also made a special return to celebrate the 10th anniversary of its first appearance at Octerror Fest 2015. The event also promoted the new SpongeBob game Titans of the Tide.

General
Like previous Octerror Fests, during the event, the group names changed to Halloween and SpongeBob related names. Customers became light blue instead of teal.

Stop What You Are Doing: Halloween Edition
The 58th SWYAD was held during this event. Like past Octerror Fests, the theme was to change your username to something Halloween themed. Whoever participated got 10 pieces of candy on the scoreboard.
Hooky 6: 10 Years Later
Hooky returned after six years and unlike the past editions where it was contained in a single roleplaying game thread, this was overarching throughout the event using other games. The following users participated: dman, WhoBob, Prez, Winter (The Fisherman), Carotte, Mythix, SOF and Zaid. It occurred during the first week of Octerror Fest, starting with the first Jackbox on October 13th. Whoever won a game would be immune from death that night and had a chance to slay The Fisherman if they correctly knew their identity. The winner in the end was Prez who successfully slayed Winter by winning the Pictioanry game on October 18th. He received the Hooky Champion badge, 30 candy, 2,000 doubloons and 300 experience points for winning.

Halloween Trivia Contest
The fifth edition of Halloween Trivia, using Kahoot. Each individual round winner would receive 1,000 doubloons, 300 experience points and 20 pieces of candy. The overall winner in the end was Prez with 50,425 points, who received: additional 20 pieces of candy, 400 experience points and the Plankton Candy Corn collectable.

Candy Creator Contest
Replacing the Scary Story Contest, users would create their own candy and the candy would be judged by staff. The winning candy idea was Black Licorice Chocolate by Mythix, who received 1,000 doubloons, 100 experience points and 20 pieces of candy.
Tombstone Hunt
Whoever found six tombstones hidden throughout the forum received: 1,000 doubloons, 200 experience points, 20 pieces of candy and the Plankton Candy Corn collectable.

Graveyard Maze
Users would choose a path to go down in a maze, and depending the direction you went, you could receive either: Candy Corn Plankton collectable, 5 pieces of candy, 20 experience points, doubloons or nothing (which made you lose 5 candy). You could only play once a day.
Haunted Hayride
Users would ride on a hayride, and depending on however long you went, you could receive either: Candy Corn Plankton collectable, 5 pieces of candy, 20 experience points, doubloons or nothing (which made you lose 5 candy). You could only play once a day.
Masquerade Mash
Users would guess which SpongeBob character is beyond a costume and if right, they could receive either: Candy Corn Plankton collectable, 5 pieces of candy, 20 experience points, doubloons or nothing (which made you lose 5 candy). You could only play once a day.
