2025 was the sixteenth year. This year celebrated the 10th anniversary of SpongeCraft.

Timeline
January to March
On January 30th, 2025, a special party was held on SpongeCraft to celebrate the game's 10th anniversary. It included a building contest in Historic SpongeCraftia and saw many players come online, making it one of the most active nights for the game. Throughout the year to celebrate the 10th anniversary, several Classic SpongeCraftia projects and countries that never got properly fleshed out were revisited. Febracropolis occurred from February 14th to February 27th, which was a Greek/Roman themed event. Arcade Anarchy IV occurred from March 8th to March 29th, which celebrated 20 years of the games The Yellow Avenger and Lights, Camera, Pants. Zaid was the winner of the event in the end.
April to June
For SBC's April Fools prank, SpringBoob and Lumon related pranks were held. The 56th Stop What You Are Doing was held from May 9th to May 16th, which had a theme of Show Characters that was chosen by Loyal Customers. Pretty Patty Pride 2025 was held from June 1st to June 16th, now becoming a yearly event.
July to September
Plankton 16 was released on July 18th, 2025, which saw: an overhaul to Discord, moving to QueUp for SBC's latest music platform, SpongeCraft updates, revival of Cashier for a Day, Zaid becoming a Fry Cook and more. SBC-129, a space event, occurred from August 15th to August 31st. Whoever collected three keys from games would be able to face the Jellien King in a boss battle. Scientific September, a mini science fair event, occurred from September 12th to September 20th.
October to December
Octerror Fest 2025 occurred from October 13th to October 31st, which WinterArcanine won. Hooky returned for the first time in six years as part of the event. The 19th Golden Community Awards were hosted by OWM. Snowcember Ball 2025 occurred from December 12th to December 29th, which Prez won. For SBC's Christmas present, a Top 10 Best Events Countdown was announced.
