Halibut is a member that joined the site on February 25, 2013. Since joining, he was very active and popular with the community, often most active in music discussions. He temporarily left the site after August 2017 due to personal real life issues, but returned on April 1st, 2018. He continued to be active and was a member of the Band Geeks. While once maintaining a respectable reputation, he tainted his image among many due to bitterly attacking members for petty reasons throughout 2020 and enabling the Cycord group's toxic behavior. He left the community due to this in summer 2020. In the years since, Halibut is now seen as a polarizing figure and hypocrite due to claiming to be a progressive while enabling bigoted behavior from Cycord. While not officially banned, he is not welcome back to the community.
