Grand Spongecraftia Directory

The Grand Spongecraftia Directory, also known as simply the Directory, is the name given to the hub location and spawn point of Spongecraftia, the world of SpongeCraft Classic and SpongeCraft Forge. Three such hubs have been built, with the third and current one first opening for use in July 2017. The original two iterations of the Directory remain intact and preserved in Spongecraftia, while only the third and current Directory continues to be maintained with additions of new portals.

Due to the map's large size, the Directory has been an essential method of navigating the world of Spongecraftia, with its many "portals" able to teleport players to a given location in the world at the push of a button. On SpongeCraft Classic, players would return to the Directory by typing the word "directory" in the chat, but since the map's return on SpongeCraft Frontiers, the teleport now works using the command "/warp directory". Its function, however, has been supplanted in the SpongeCraft Forge by Waystones, which allow players to use a text-based menu and warp directly between points on the map without visiting the Directory.

In addition to the portals, it is also home to "Da Controls", a room featuring button controls for world conditions and player effects, as well as two "lounges" for both SBC staff and Loyal Customers; however, the latter two have been unofficially open to the public since the closure of SpongeCraft Classic, which resulted in their plugin-based locks being disabled.
