'''Zaid''' (formerly '''ZaidCatDog''') is a user who joined [[SBC]] on September 10th, [[2013]]. He is a gay/queer male from Atlanta, Georgia who uses he/him pronouns, he's currently best known for his liking of Classic Television, Logos, Movies and everything in between, as well as Historic Motorsports and Automobiles, and old historic Retail, which has culminated in his Spongecraft Builds, which are primarily world-building related retail and other destination builds.  

Zaid joined SBC in 2013 when he was just 10 Years Old, and it very much showed with his very first post "Krusty Towers Demolition 2013", with his very first written text being "As We Speek Mr Krabs Has Gone Bankrupt And Rocky Mountain Leveling Has Asked To Demolish It.", all of his replies in the thread were either confused questions or references to YouTube Videos he watched at the time, which likely confused others as well. A lot of his first posts were related to Roller Coasters, which at the time was one of his hyper-fixations, a common theme for a lot of his posts even all the way up to his original 2018 ban, though over the years they would lessen and lessen as he grew older.

Prior to his original ban from SBC, Zaid was one of the most active members on [[SpongeCraft]], and garnered a reputation for committing far too heavily to business roleplaying; this led to, among other things, [https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/412078623944736768/962569786636787722/unknown.png an attempt] by him to revive [[SBC Court]] to resolve a zoning dispute on the server. In the process, Zaid constructed hundreds of locations for his various "businesses", a few of which (most notably [[Arctic Mills]] and Kesano Mall) were demolished following his ban, but most of which remain standing on the final version of the server map. He was banned on November 28th, 2018 due to Discord drama.

During his time away, Zaid grew up, learning about himself more during the lockdown, getting his license, graduating High School, attending college, and then finding out he was Gay in January of 2022, it was also in 2022 that Zaid found interest in Minecraft builds again, with a combination of both doing work on the Esterlon Private Worldbuild server, and also starting his own server (which he would later cancel in January 2023), building the now-lost project "Hubworld Acres", a very long 1-level mall, his original ambitions for the map being that the mall was in the very center and the Old Sears building would be it's "SCC" Equivalent, after that server had died due to a missed payment, he found new interest in SpongeCraft again months later.

during the Summer of 2023, Zaid would host his own copy of SpongeCraft Classic privately on a server, and began to go around the map to make improvements and add new builds, he would continue to use the server into 2024 (though he is allegedly considering cancelling it all together very soon by Q2 2025.). notably redoing Ukulele Bottom Mall, City Hall and a portion of Downtown UB.

Zaid was unbanned in late August 2024, and returned to SBC in late August 2024, after being contacted by [[HawkbitAlpha]] about the restoration of Arctic Mills to [[SpongeCraft Frontiers]]. He has since become an active regular of both the community and SCF, being named [[Featured Employee]] of Autumn 2024, promoted to an [[SpongeCraft Operators|Operator]] of SCF in January 2025 and a Wiki Administrator on SBC Wiki in February 2025.
