Tv.com SpongeBob SquarePants guide and forum: Difference between revisions

Following a [[Site Incidents|forum attack in August 2009]] that left several notable users banned, and amongst other unpopular decisions the staff made, the board began to die out. This caused [[terminoob]] to create The SpongeBob Community on August 15th, 2009, as a refuge for banned users. The final nail in the coffin would come in summer 2010 when [[WhaleBlubber]] orchestrated an attack that banned most remaining active users. By September 2010, there were only a few users left the SpongeBoard board, such as [[Fa|Southparkfa]], [[teenj12]] and futuramarama; the first two eventually moving to SBC. In November 2010, [[tvguy]] announced on a blog it was finally time for everyone to abandon Tv.com. Some did not budge and stayed on the sinking ship. A few notable users who never made the jump to SBC included DC-Dude, ShrinkinViolet and Dumb_Dog_19.
