Each game and activity during the event awarded users a piece of candy. Whoever came in first place for a game received 20 pieces, while 2nd and 3rd obtained 15 and 10 respectively. If someone came in last place or lost a minigame, they would lose 5 pieces. If a user reached 20 pieces of candy, they could activate one of four Ghost Powers: steal limited amount of candy from another user, never fail a minigame of choice, move to 3rd place if you come in 4th, or shield yourself from The Fisherman for one night (Hooky only). Each power could only be used once. Winter was the winner in the end, who received 4,000 doubloons, 400 experience points and the Candy Champion badge.

The 58th SWYAD was held during this event.  Like past Octerror Fests, the theme was to change your username to something Halloween themed. Whoever participated got 10 pieces of candy on the scoreboard.

Hooky returned after six years and unlike the past editions where it was contained in a single roleplaying game thread, this was overarching throughout the event using other games. The following users participated: dman, WhoBob, Prez, Winter (The Fisherman), Carotte, Mythix, SOF and Zaid. It occurred during the first week of Octerror Fest, starting with the first Jackbox on October 13th. Whoever won a game would be immune from death that night and had a chance to slay The Fisherman if they correctly knew their identity. The winner in the end was Prez who successfully slayed Winter by winning the Pictioanry game on October 18th. He received the Hooky Champion badge, 30 candy, 2,000 doubloons and 300 experience points for winning.
