Not sure how this would work, sure they're both scientists and are both very smart. But I just don't see it happening for many reasons. Plus, besides science they're nothing alike.

Karen and Plankton or no cigar. Though they do have a lot in common. Both are intelligent invention making scientists with southern roots and have huge personalities. They still don't feel compatible because one is positive and one isn't so much so.

In the end of perfect chemistry Sandy did have an evil laugh so it could be foreshadowing in a future episode if continuity isn't messed up with it.
