Wrasslin' Crew: Last thread got future endeavored

Rather indifferent about Batista returning.  Hopefully they put him to good use as a heel, but I have a bad feeling that he'll be an uncharismatic babyface.  Dislike Face Batista, love Heel Batista.  Also, I hope this doesn't mean CM Punk and Daniel Bryan will be put on the back burner.

Oh and while I'm here, John Cena and Triple H are a huge fan of this guy in NXT, Enzo Amore:

Shame that Enzo is out with injury at the moment. He's one of the better mic workers down in developmental right now. Good to see he has big supporters, for whatever good that may be considering the mixed states of past guys those two were high on.

So Batista is back for two more years? Well shit, hopefully some new stars are able to break through in that time frame because Batista is going to hog that spotlight.

and i thought Batista *quits* WWE since he lost WWE Champ back in 2010.

Well if the price is right.

I really hope he doesn't win the Rumble, but knowing WWE's ways sometimes...

Daniel Bryan walks out with the Wyatts... there are certain things that should never happen. The fact that he joined the Wyatts is scary to me, it just doesn't feel right. I can't believe he just walked out on everyone. I'm not sure if I should cheer or boo him. If Daniel Bryan goes bad, I guess I'm left with CM Punk.

I felt it was the logical step to take to progress their story further. I ain't against Bryan joining The Wyatt's, it could make for some interesting developments for the Road to Wrestlemania ahead. It gives The Wyatt's some more heat to build up on. Besides, the fans will continue chanting their hearts out for Bryan no matter what. With Vince himself apparently declaring that there are no more heels or faces anymore (which could explain the bipolar Miz/Kofi feud), they could have a fan favorite in Bryan fall in with the more antagonistic Wyatt Family and continue building up that he hasn't turned his back on the fans nor have they turned on him, but that it's simply not enough to overcome the Authority so he had to make a deal with the devil. I just hope the payoff for all this is well worth it.

And THE BEAST, THE ANOMALY IS BACK EMPHATICALLY!

Even though I think Daniel Bryan should still get a legitimate run with the WWE title, I still feel good that Vince at least acknowledges that he is a top star (no matter what we on the Internet think he doesn't). The man is a good storyteller and last night's conclusion with The Wyatt Family just gave this new story some absolute new life. I can't wait to see where this goes and this will absolutely help make The Wyatt Family bigger draws in the long run.

Oh and Brock Lesnar destroying Mark Henry was amazing. I only wish I could have seen it live.

As previously reported, WWE was originally planning on a Brock Lesnar vs. Big Show match at the Royal Rumble pay-per-view. The idea came about when Show was feuding with The Authority.

Apparently the plan was for Big Show to go through Randy Orton and The Authority, although he would never win the title, yet he would come out of the program as a solid main eventer. This would set up Show looking strong, making Lesnar look strong for a match against The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX when he beat Show at the Rumble.

Speaking of Taker vs. Lesnar, there appears to be some concern over a few different issues. One is the physical style that Lesnar has in recent years. Lesnar's rough style, mixed with the bad physical shape Taker is in, is causing some concern.

Another issue is that many, if not all of Taker's opponents the last several years have secretly worked out their match with extensive practice before it actually took place. There is some concern within WWE as to whether or not Lesnar would be willing to put in that amount of time preparing for the match.

The Undertaker has reportedly specifically asked to work with Daniel Bryan in a match at WrestleMania XXX. Whether or not WWE runs with that idea remains to be seen, but obviously if Taker himself is requesting it, it will carry a lot of weight during the decision-making process.

I like a Taker/DB match.

I really like Sam Shaw's "American Psycho" character in TNA, pretty big jump from his old, bland skating character. It has potential and I hope they push it to the limit of where it could go. Just give em a remixed version of Hip To Be Square as a theme and more of the Bate Man's sense of humor and he'll be fuckin golden. I love it when wrestling takes inspiration from films for gimmicks.

You mean like Sting from The Crow?  :P

Exactly. Altho that whole Joker from The Dark Knight shtick he tried pulling off a few years back came off so damn awkward.

Ssj can I have a link to the source where you found the Taker/Bryan news?

Also apparently WWE officials are very high on football player turned wrestler NXT talent Mojo Rawley and WWE officials envision him as future face of the WWE material.
