157b. Oral Report

SpongeBob has to say an oral report for Boating School, but gets nervous.

I really love this one- It feels like an overview of the series as it goes. There was a scene in this one at Patrick's rock that felt like it came straight out of Season 3. This episode was a sign of what Season 8 was really capable of, and a sign of good things to come. The episode tapers off a bit with all the underwear jokes near the end, but there's this live-action montage that makes up for them. Oral Report is a very solid episode.

8.5/10. Your thoughts?

I thought this was a pretty good episode.  Definitely had one of those early season feels to it with it's comedy.  I actually thought Patrick was the best character in this episode, which I can't say all that often these days.  He stole every scene with the pillows and his impersonation of Mrs. Puff.  Righteous.  It loses points for the slightly disappointing ending.  Still a good episode.

I don't know about you, but the episode Oral Report is a masterpiece of failure. Like, not only does it have nothing worth liking, but it failed in each and every category. It is INSPIRING to how bad this episode is. It is the culmination of everything wrong with modern spongebob jammed into one episode. In fact, I may have to do a follow-up review on this episode. Let's start with the fact that it starts at the Krusty Krab. Rule of thumb (The Splinter). Spongebob is preparing for his oral report for boating school. The first problem here is the foreground conclusion. He is doing an assignment for boating school. If he fails the assignment, he fails the class. If he passes the assignment, something down the road will make him fail the class. If he passes the class, he will fail the class. The people at the Krusty Krab have been waiting so long, that they've turned into zombies. This scares Spongebob so much, that he goes into hiding. And then the zombies decide to beat up Squidward. Yep, let's shoe-horn Squidward Torture Porn for the brief moment he's here. This frightens Spongebob even more. So, Spongebob goes to Patrick's for help. Considering we're number three in the worst Patrick's a Prick episode list, you know that this isn't going to end well. It starts with Patrick noisily moving a desk to the back to the mock classroom. Then Patrick asks for a hall pass, already missing the basic point. Then Patrick falls asleep. Patrick tells Spongebob that he has to be prepared for the worst. He helps him by hurling pillows at Spongebob, REPEATEDLY. Then Spongebob dressing up like misses Puff...wait wat? He blames Spongebob for the pillow mess and gives him a detention slip. Then Patrick puts Spongebob on a treadmill, bangs a symble, and gets Spongebob to fall down. And keeps demanding that speech. You know, in the earlier seasons, it was obvious Patrick's help wasn't helping. But it was also obvious where he was coming from. NONE OF THIS STUFF CAN COME FROM ANY SORT OF LOGIC, PERIOD. Even if you do your oral report, you're still going to fail your f----- class. Then Patrick suggests Sandy to make him a fake license. Spongebob is the only character in this episode that realizes that's illegal. Mrs. Puff gets arrested for no reason, and the episode ends. This is probably the worse episode. This would be number 1.

And why are you copying Mr. Enter's review word for word?

Also, if you're going to plagiarize, at least plagiarize one of our many fine members. ;) (Elastic Dog 1) Believing everything an internet reviewer says is so 2010. (Elastic Dog 2)

I might becertain that Mrenter is being intentional here. While people here think he's doing the review word for word, I ought to take a look at Mr. Enter's original words/thoughts on Oral Report if I can consider this "plagiarizing."
