It's not the worst show on Nick i've ever seen, it's fast, it has action, and I'm assuming it'd be a blast to watch for younger children.

This show is spectacular. Not better than the 2003 series (well, the first four seasons, anyway), but better than the 1987 series. It's an effective blend of each incarnation of the series. The origins (Splinter being a human, the ooze, etc) are very reminiscent of the movies and 1987 series. All the anime touches in the show give off a very "Teen Titans" vibe, and the effective balance of comedy and action was nice. The characters were balanced very nicely, and Michelangelo was probably the best character in this incarnation (voiced by Greg Cipes, who voiced Beast Boy on TT, ironically ). The CGI was pretty cool too.

All in all, I really liked this version of TMNT, and hope that the series will improve over the course of time. It's really awesome so far.

I watched the 2003 TMNT when they aired it on Cartoon Network, but I barely even remember it anymore. The new series is pretty cool, and I'll definitely be keeping it on my radar.
