William Leonard Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 'Welcome to Pretty Patties! May I take your money?' One of the funniest Season 2 episodes. I really loved the start.
NegiSpongie Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 A great episode. SPONGEBOB: Hey Patrick, are you angry too? PATRICK: Yeah. SPONGEBOB: What's the matter? PATRICK: I can't see my forehead.
crushingmayhem Posted August 21, 2012 Posted August 21, 2012 I loved this episode. The scene about the guy's face turning purple and the colored tongues was pretty hilarious.
TJ Posted August 22, 2012 Posted August 22, 2012 I used to love this episode a lot. But I didn't like the SpongeBob abuse, I felt bad for him when Mr.Krabs and Squiward mocked his idea. The colorful patties actually looked delicious despite their side affects .
crushingmayhem Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 ^Same here. I thought the side effects were pretty funny despite how good the Patties actually looked. But overall the episode seems to have a message of success in Spongebob's part.
Sauce Mama Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Easily one of the best season 2 eps. "I can't feel my legs, Mr. Krabs." 10/10
NegiSpongie Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 Has anybody ever tried rubbing two pickles together to see if they squeak? 1
OWM Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 This episode was great! There were some good jokes, like "I can't see my forehead" and the talking dog joke, and I liked seeing the animation of the Krusty Krab all dirtied up. I did find it weird how Patrick just disappears from the plot similar to Sandy in Christmas Who?. To wrap things up, this episode's a good egg. Final score: 8/10
patrickduh Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I liked this episode. It was quite like verbal bullying when Squidward and Mr Krabs we're mocking at Spongebob's idea. The ending was quite great. I give this episode 8/10.
WhoBibbles Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 This is actually one of my favorite SpongeBob episodes. I loved the episode when I was a child and I still love it. It's very funny, creative and I loved that Mr. Krabs got what he deserved at the end of this episode. My favorite part is definetly Mr. Krabs watching a romantic movie. It has lots of hilarious quotes, here's some of them: Mr. Krabs: Wait! Gimme an orange patty... with extra purple! Mr. Krabs: What's next? Sequin milkshakes? Squidward: Bow-tie French fries? SpongeBob: Hey, Patrick, are you angry, too? Patrick: Yeah. SpongeBob: What's the matter? Patrick: I can't see my forehead. SpongeBob: At first we didn't know what to do with all the money. We tried burying it, shredding it and burning it! But in the end, we decided just to give it all away. SpongeBob: I can't feel my legs, Mr. Krabs. 10/10 1
4EverGreen Posted June 15, 2015 Posted June 15, 2015 Spongebob, angelically: "Mr. KRABS!!!! I have an IDEA!!!!" Patrick: "I can't see my forehead!" Mr. Krabs eyes BULGING and then flying out when he HEARS what Spongebob and Patrick tried to do with THEIR money! Spongebob: "Dreams DO come true...!" Mr. Krabs: "I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready, for me money!" Such a HILARIOUS episode; an 11/10! 1
Grimmy Claus <3 Posted December 19, 2016 Posted December 19, 2016 I LOVE Squidward's laugh and dance with Mr. Krabs' and Mr. Krabs and Squidward's relationship in this episode. 10/10! Second-last SB episode review for a while.
The Guy With the Computer Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 This episode is fairly pleasant. It's definitely one of the more iconic episodes to me, as I remember constantly talking about colored krabby patties as a child. It may not be one of the strongest episodes, but I do really like it, and "I can't see my forehead" always gets me. 9/10
Jelly Lelly Posted June 17, 2021 Posted June 17, 2021 8/10 Good Highlight: the side effects Lowlight: the bullying
