Break A Leg!

Recommended Posts

Alright, so this show shall be coming back soon from me. In case you don't know, this was OMJ's old spin-off, all the way from SBC's Forumotion days. OMJ originally had this up for sale at his Glove World store, and I bought the rights to it. And now, here we are. Due to unforntinate circumstances, all of the past episodes of the show did not transfer over to our site. So, I'll be re-airing all of the past episodes of the show in Marathons, so that we're able to get through the episodes faster. I say we will begin the marathons tommorow, and continue every Friday until we're done with them. I'll probably give you 5-8 episodes each Friday because I want to have new comers to the show be able to catch up and understand the show.

But, to start you out, i'll give you OMJ's plot summery:

After years of enduring pain and torment being done to his leg in Bikini Bottom, mild-mannered Fred Rechid has finally snapped and goes above and beyond to take some 'necessary' action. He sues the city for all it's worth, deeming it an unsafe environment, and does so by using whatever resources he could remember and muster up during his failing days in law school. After many months of trials and tribulations, Fred finally wins his legal battle. Using his reparation money, he moves his two sons and his new fiance into a luxury apartment on the upper east side of New Kelp City. More money causes more problems when Fred's fiance and sons start squandering Fred's hard-earned money at an increasingly alarming rate. Now, Fred must go above and beyond to stabilize the family's financial situation in an unforgiving city full of wacky and unstable characters with an economy that is not so bubbling at the moment...or get hurt trying.

This show will be mostly summeries of the episodes, similar to how Skodwarde's writing is.

Characters from Season 1 will be posted overtime. So, make sure to toon in to the Break A Leg! Catch Up-A-Thon, every Friday until we run out of old episodes! :)

Characters from Season 1(From OMJ's original posting on Forumotion):

Main Characters:

Fred Rechid: (A.K.A. "My Leg!" Guy from the original series) A mild-mannered everyday man who suffers from agliophobia, other wise known as a fear of pain, most likely caused from his days of torment back in Bikini Bottom. He is very money conscious, but is not incredibly greedy like Mr. Krabs. Has two teenaged sons from a previous marriage. His first wife took off and was never seen or heard from again, leaving him to raise his two sons by himself. His fear of pain often times leaves him vulnerable in many situations and mostly causes him to get pushed around and not taken seriously by others, even his own family. He's a former office worker and janitor at Shady Shoals Retirement Home. Job searches for most of season one to usually hilarious and outrageous results. Later finds a more permanent position during the latter half as a secretary at the offices of Fancyson & Sons.

Sadie "Future Mrs. Rechid": Another background character from the original series who has a more prominent role in this series. She is Fred's fiance. They got engaged fairly recently. She is very dominant over Fred, splurges his money, and often gets after him with false accusations of adultery when in reality, she is the one cheating on Fred. She uses Fred for his money which she spends lavishly to satisfy her own material needs such as plastic surgery and clothes. She's not very fond of her future stepsons, but they're really fond of her. *wink wink*

Tommy Vincent Rechid: Seen previously as a background character in the original series in the episode, "Slimy Dancing". Fred's, now of age, oldest son who is very fond of motorcycles and leather, lots of leather. His biological mother abandoned him and his family at a young age, leading him and his younger brother to be raised up through most of their childhood and adolescence by a single parent in Fred. He seems to be the most disturbed of the two Rechid boys. He dropped out of high school and is mostly making a living off his father. Fred doesn't get after him much, or either of his boys for that matter, mostly due to his fear of Tommy and Monroe trying to inflict pain on him. Tommy shows Fred more respect than his little brother, but doesn't put it above him to intimidate his father along with his brother to give them a 'raise in their allowances'. He looks to make a name for himself in NKC, hoping to somehow buy his way to the top to outrageous results. Is oblivious to Sadie's obvious infidelity.

Monroe Timothy Rechid: Also seen as a background character in the original series in the episode, "Krabby Land". Fred's youngest son, younger than Tommy by one year. Fred considers him to be the more successful of his two boys. He's a star wide receiver for his new school's varsity team, is actually finishing up his high school education, and has scholarship offers coming from all across the ocean. His mother abandoned him at a young age, leaving him to be raised by Fred. Monroe hates his name, feeling it doesn't match up for all that he stands for. Whereas his father fears pain, Monroe takes sick pleasure in giving and receiving it, likely stemming from a past childhood experience in the original series. Literally taking the phrase "no pain, no gain" way too seriously. Unlike his brother, he doesn't feel the need to make his presence known as he feels people should already know who he is. Often competes with his brother over Sadie's attention. Is also just as clueless when it comes to Sadie's adultery.

Tom Smith: (A.K.A. "Chocolate! Guy" from the original series) Fred's best friend and Tommy's godfather from Bikini Bottom who mas moved on over to New Kelp City to start a new life, seeing it as a place of opportunity. Tom previously worked as a dentist and part time bartender in Bikini Bottom. He now works as a tour bus driver in NKC, claiming to see plenty of action while on the job. He is also a violent and long-time chocoholic, going above and beyond to satisfy his 'cravings'. He is also an aspiring actor, hoping to make it big on Waterway. He too had some painful experiences during his time in Bikini Bottom. Being confined to an iron butt for quite some time caused his marriage to implode. He helps Fred with his job searching during much of his season one appearances.

Recurring Characters:

Rick Star: (Briefly seen in the Spongebob episode "Chocolate With Nuts") Is a dim-witted, sex crazed, and somewhat questionable pink starfish who is nearly identical to Patrick except he wears a shirt instead of pants. He's a co-worker of Fred's during the latter half of season one, working as a defense attorney for Fancyson & Sons. He is also a recovering 'sugar' addict, but is seen snorting a few ounces from time to time. Is also easily distracted from a situation, likely caused by his addiction and its side effects. He serves pretty much as Fred's own version of Patrick. Rick asks for Fred's help often with his cases, most of the time making Fred doing his work for him. Rick is also one of the very few who realizes Sadie's adulterous ways, but often or not completely forgets about it in the end in similar Patrick-fashion.

Larry the Lobster: A former professional bodybuilder, powerlifter, and part-time lifeguard from the original series. He is the guy that Sadie is seeing behind Fred's back. He moved to New Kelp City after being involved in a steroid scandal during the annual Bikini Bottom Mr. Ironman competition, which he was unceremoniously disqualified from competing. These are allegations that he denies sternly, claiming that it wasn't 'juice' that he was taking, but a 'protein shake'. He now works as a personal fitness instructor and lifestyle guru. He also works as a volunteer firefighter from time to time. He also goes through random fits of roid rage but uses his lifestyle expertise to calm himself down immediately after in order to keep his steroid abuse on the down low. His size apparently does compensate for something. *wink wink*

Squilliam Fancyson III: An antagonistic character previously seen in multiple Spongebob episodes. He works with his father and grandfather at the law firm, Fancyson & Sons, but has authority over majority of his employees, who often takes the time out of his day to abuse both verbally and physically. He hires Fred as his personal secretary during the latter half of season one. He always sends Fred out to perform increasingly difficult to almost impossible errands for him, as a way to test Fred's loyalties and his apparent fear of pain. He sees potential in Fred, whom he refers to as his 'bottom bitch' because of said potential shown during the cases Fred helps Rick with. After giving him an errand to run, Squilliam always tells Fred to "break a leg". Is also filthy stinkin' rich.

We need to get some activity into Spin-Offs. Let's start the Catch Up-A Thon...NOW! WITH THE FIRST 5 EPISODES!

(Credit goes to OMJ for the following episodes)

S1E1) "No Money, Mo' Problems": After finally settling down into their new home in NKC, Fred is shocked to see many things around the apartment he don't remember buying. It soon becomes evident that his family is squandering his money for their own personal needs. Now, Fred must either take a stand or find another way to fix his alarmingly increasing financial troubles....no matter what the cost!

S1E2) "Mr. Money In The Bank": Fred decides to invest some of his money into the stock market so he can make money off his money, but when he asks for help from a shady stock broker (the Con Man from the Spongebob episode "Chocolate With Nuts"), his investments are seemingly nothing but bum deals. With every bum deal after bum deal, things seem to only benefit the con artist. But even more disturbing, Fred is not the only being played in this ponzi scheme.

S1E3) "Them Retchid Boys Are At It Again": Tommy and Monroe takes the family's new luxury sport boat mobile, and Sadie, out for a joyride. But things quickly go awry when alcohol and speed become deadly factors, and lives are being put at stake that are not their own. Meanwhile, Fred is out doing something he never thought he'd find himself doing ever again...job hunting.

S1E4) "Everybody's Working For The Weekend" & "Weekend At Larry's": The season's first episode with two separate segments. In "Everybody's Working For The Weekend", as punishment for their antics in the previous episode, Fred puts his feet down and forces Tommy and Monroe to apply for jobs to help pay off the damages done to the family's now wrecked up boat mobile. Fred is later shocked to find out that they found themselves jobs before he did, but will them Retchid boys be able to make do with what they've gotten themselves in to? In "Weekend At Larry's", while the boys are away, Sadie will play...and fool around with her new fitness instructor. Will she be able to seduce the supposed former roid junkie into submission, or will roid rage cause Larry not to take a hint at all?

S1E5) "Lone Sharks": Desperate for some more spare cash, Tom decides to take Fred to an underground poker tournament. But when Fred unknowingly and unwittingly accepts a seemingly kind gesture from a couple of gents, he finds himself in debt to a couple of loan sharks (emphasis on SHARKS). When they come to collect their backpay, Fred has no dice to show and a fight for survival quickly ensues. Things get even more heated when the malicious debt collectors start hitting Fred a little too close to home. Meanwhile, Tommy Vincent is out and about in town and finds himself recruited into the ranks of the former Bubble Poppin' Boys, the Booty Boppin' Boys.

Enjoy! :)

Look's like I shall continue the Break A Leg! Catch Up-A-Thon Marathon with 10 EPISODES...NOW!

S1E6) "Shakened, Not Stirred": To make up for the recent mishaps in the previous episode, Tom decides to sign Fred up for a bar tending class. Fred starts off on a rocky start, but as the days go on he soon finds his affinity for the art of bar tending. When he graduates, he immediately finds work at a local pub in Sea Queens and starts racking in quite a bit of cash that he makes only in tips. When Sadie catches wind of this, she starts to pressure Fred to expand his horizons to the bars and clubs of the much more popping nightclub scene in Sandhattan, knowing Fred could very well double or triple the amount he makes now. The Sandhattan scene soon proves to be much more difficult and demanding for Fred to handle. Meanwhile, Monroe decides to partake in some last minute conditioning before his big game and his personal fitness trainer is none other than Larry the Lobster, who starts introducing the Retchid boy to his own bad habits and 'protein shakes'.

S1E7) "Light My Fire": Larry the Lobster recruits a desperate Fred into the ranks of the volunteer fire department. All goes seemingly well until Fred finds out he's been putting his life on the line for nothing. Things go from bad to worse when Sadie comes to pay Larry a visit. Things go downhill even more when the Retchid's apartment building mysteriously catches on fire. Meanwhile, Tom takes Tommy and Monroe along for a guys' night out on the town but they get into trouble with some salty undesirables who have a bone to pick with Tommy as the night goes on.

S1E8) "Divine Intervention": After a scuffle at Monroe's football game, Fred decides to stage an intervention by helping Tom get over his sugar rush and Monroe with his steroid abuse. When his efforts at trying to reach them fail, Fred calls in professional help in the form of the sophisticated, hygienic, investigative, and self-proclaimed exploitive, Dr. Gil Gilliam. Meanwhile, Tommy and Sadie finally have some alone time when they're stuck with having to unpack what's left of their belongings into their new home in the suburbs of Sea Queens, but Tommy's plans are blown over when Larry the Lobster pays a surprise visit.

S1E9) "No Way On The Subway": Tommy's loyalties are tested when the Booty Boppin' Boys are invited to a 'gang summit' peace meeting in the Donx. Things go awry when the influential leader of one of the city's most powerful street gangs is shot and killed in cold blood. The Booty Boppers have been framed for the assassination, and now must make their way back home to Sea Queens by mindlessly and violently clobbering every obstacle that gets in their way...no matter who they may be and leaving the entire city in their wake. Meanwhile, Fred and the rest of the Rechid family and friends tune in on the radio to get updates on the story from Pearl, who is now a radio DJ, still not knowing that Tommy is one of the Boppers in turmoil in this very first one-hour episode that kind of pays homage to the 1979 cult classic film, "The Warriors" (which should not be remade!!).

S1E10) "Nipping At Your Nose": It's the holiday season and things are looking bleak for the Rechid's Christmas spirits. Fred is still out of a job and low on spending money which he is saving for the wedding, depressing him even more knowing he can't even give his family a decent Christmas. But monetary aid miraculously comes in the form of an elderly old fish who promises Fred a very hefty and handsome payment if he performs a quick and errand for him. Fred is soon making a killing just by cooperating with the old man, guaranteeing him and his family a very merry christmas. But Fred soon grows suspicious of the old man's activities when the cops get involved during one of his errands. Tom later tells Fred that the old man is "Salty Sal" Salvaccini Pesce, the don of one of NKC's most notorious organized crime families. Now, Fred must find a way out of his employment without having the Mafia on his tailfin.

S1E11) "First Impressions": Fred is called in for an interview at Fancyson & Sons, being one of the frontrunners up for the secretary position. He finds himself getting acquainted with the staff, particularly the odd, happy-go-lucky Rick Star. Fred finally meets the somewhat cynical, suave, sophisticated, greedy, and wench mongering Squilliam Fancyson III. Squilliam immediately hires Fred after a lengthy and hilariously awkward conversation about incest, once again crushing the hopes and dreams of other people who are less fortunate. Meanwhile, Sadie and Larry (well, mostly Larry) try to come to terms on their secret relationship.

S1E12) "Case & Point": It's Fred's first day on the job and he unwittingly finds himself having to listen and go through Rick's tour of Fancyson & Sons, which results in nothing productive being done by the end of the day, but gives him further insight into the lives of both Rick and Squilliam, who apparently has some "shit in store" for Fred. Truly an ominous foreshadowing of things to come...When Fred finally gets home he tells Sadie that their wedding date has been set, leaving Sadie shocked even though she was there when they booked the date. Sadie now finds herself torn between two men...or is she really??

S1E13) "Eligible Bachelors": Tom, Tommy, and Monroe are throwing Fred a surprise bachelor party, but Fred is caught up at work and most likely won't be able to make it. They decide to make the most of it by hiring some strippers to perform, but things get dirty when their pimp comes along to crash the party at the seams. Meanwhile, Fred is out and about trying to get Squilliam his Chinese food to him on time while also dodging carefully placed hazards and obstacles that are the best that Squilliam's vast amount of money could buy.

S1E14) "Here Comes The Pride Part 1": The wedding day is finally upon us. The bride to be, Sadie, intends on bluntly telling Fred the truth of her adultery and wants out of the wedding, but the groomsman, Larry, wants her to take things slow so Fred won't be completely and utterly disappointed, but are caught in the act by none other than Rick Star. Meanwhile, Tommy and Monroe set out to find the wedding rings they lost in the previous episode. Having to retrace their steps if they ever hope to find them in this first half of the first ever two-part episode.

S1E15) "I Object! Part 2": Sadie and Larry are frantically out looking for Rick in an attempt to stop him from talking, with Larry freaking out with (roid) rage, creating a scene in front of everybody. They soon come to find out that Rick is a complete idiot, having apparently completely forgotten about the whole ordeal. In the meantime, Tommy and Monroe finally find the wedding rings, but will soon find out that their effort to find them would be all for naught. When the time for the "I Do's" comes around, Rick epically intervenes and finally sheds light on the whole situation, claiming to have just been "fucking around" when Sadie and Larry were interrogating him. Fred, now knowing the whole truth, gets over his fears for a rare moment and chew Sadie out with scathing obscenities before finally unleashing (or attempting to unleash, either one works) hell on Larry to end the first season.

Season 1 DVD shall be released later today :)

Here is my gift to you. The first 5 episodes of Season 2. :)

S2E1) "The Dr. Gil Show": After the events that transpired during the first season finale, The Rechids, Sadie, Larry, Tom, and Rick are invited to take part in the premiere episode of "The Dr. Gil Show" to confront each other and solve their personal issues in front of a rowdy and violent hungry live studio audience. The suave, sophisticated, investigative, and self-proclaimed exploitive, Dr. Gil Gilliam looks to bring peace to this wacky and distant bunch the only way he knows how...through awkward conversation and mindless violence only suited for cable TV in this satire that parodies Oprah, Dr. Phil, Dr. Oz, Late Night television and Jerry Springer all in a one hour special season premiere.

S2E2) "Old Man Jenkins And His Jalopy": Monroe is forced into some community service helping to assist the elderly at the nearby NKC Shady Shoals Retirement Home. Monroe initially despises the thought of having to help a bunch of boring, senile old farts, but after meeting and getting to know Old Man Jenkins, his views on the elderly drastically changes. Jenkins introduces Monroe to the wonders of Marijuana and begins telling the young Rechid boy a high-induced story that goes back in time during the first annual Driftwood Festival of '69. After a shroom-induced orgy in his jalopy, Young Man Jenkins awakens to find himself dazed and confused, trapped beneath the pile of bodies he had recently engaged in promiscuous sex with. He struggles his way through and out of the car. Breathing heavily and feeling an empty hole in the pit of his stomach, he straddles out in search of some grub. The festival's promoter is running low on bands who can perform on stage and enlists Jenkins' help in convincing nearby future music legend, Cob Drylan, to perform but Jenkins finds himself distracted along the way in this story involving sex, drugs, actual good music, and a few "Krabby Patties". Meanwhile, Fred is out and about getting Squilliam's prostitutes to him on time while dodging the ho's very angry and ripped off pimp in this trippy new second episode of the second season.

S2E3) "Another West Side Story": A hot, new, and provocative underwater squirrel by the name of Candy has caught the eyes of Tommy Vincent, who has recently been made a trusted Lieutenant of the Booty Boppin' Boys. He quickly tries his hand at hitting on her, but she turns down every advancement. When Tommy tries to get to the bottom of the situation (literally) he finds out that the bodacious land animal is arm candy (hence her name) for the Oceanside Rip Thighs leader, Scooter (known for his previous appearances as a surfer dude in the original series). In this classic and humorous re-re-telling of the original story, we see undying love, sexual passion, more mindless gang warfare, memorable music numbers, and satires of social issues all while in the meantime, Fred finds himself in the crossfire as he ventures deep into the depths of the Rip Thighs territory in order to get Squilliam (and Rick) their next fix of cocaine.

S2E4) "The Dark Depths": It's another day of burning at the retirement home for Monroe as he "provides aid" to Old Man Jenkins in exchange for more weed. While tripping out and trying to find a way to the cafeteria to satisfy his munchies, he literally stumbles himself into the room of semi-retired superheroes, Mermaid & Barnacle Boy! Monroe soon finds himself entangled in a dangerous series of events as Mermaid and Barnacle Boy take him along to provide aid in their capture of the murderous and psychotic Clownfish, a domestic terrorist who's goal is to take down the city's economy and throw NKC into a state of anarchy and chaos no matter how many lives is lost in the process. The Clownfish proves to be much, much more than Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy, and even District Attorney Ben Dover, could handle. Can the inebriated Rechid boy help the senile twosome put a stop to this madman before more hospitals are blown up?

S2E5) "Case Closed": Rick coerces Fred into helping him out with a case of his. Fred must help Rick defend a convicted felon going by the name of the "Tattletale Strangler" and prove him innocent in a murder case. When Fred and Rick meet up with their client for the first time, The Strangler promises to 'fucking strangle' both men if they don't prove his innocence. While Fred looks into the case and stories, he discovers that the murder doesn't match The Strangler's M.O. and vows to find the real killer. Fred also finds out that the murder victim was the priest at his wedding, adding some more worry and stress for Fred as he moved on in the case. As Fred and Rick (well, mostly Fred) try to home in on the actual murderer, Sadie offers the real killer, who is actually a contract killer, a new deal to murder Fred, Larry, and even Rick as part of her revenge scheme.

It's time. Next 5 episodes of Season 2 of Break A Leg! Coming Upppppppppppppp!

S2E6) "Two Bit Hit": After failing to prove The Strangler's innocence in the previous episode, Fred is out fetching Squilliam's dry cleaning when a sniper's bullet almost pierces his brain. He runs off in a hurry as shots continue to fire down upon him. He manages to reach and start up his boat before speeding off with his life still intact. After more attempts on his life are made while entering the law office, Fred confronts Squilliam about the matter. Squilliam surprisingly tells Fred he never hired anybody to kill him today, leaving Fred confused and worried. As Fred is driving home to Sea Queens, he notices he's being stalked by a man on a motorcycle. Fred tries to shake him off his tail fin, but things turn for the worse when the biker starts taking pot shots with a sawn-off shotgun. The ensuing chaotic chase ends up in a major pile-up, with Dennis being caught all up in the middle of it. Thinking his troubles are seemingly over, Fred sighs with relief before driving away from the graphic scene. As his car disappears into the distance of the Sandhattan-Sea Queens Expressway, Dennis is seen forcefully lifting a boat up off of him as he looks on with a smirk on his face and calmly paces his way towards Sea Queens.

S2E7) "Lobster Dinner" and "This Isn't Ladies' Night": In "Lobster Dinner", Larry, feeling guilty for what transpired last season, anonymously invites Fred to dinner at a diner not too far from Fred's suburban home. Fred, thinking it's a blind date, gets all prepped up with the help of his two boys and Tom. When he arrives, he is shocked to find out that Larry is his supposed date. He berates Larry for misleading him, telling Larry that he is still angry at him for what he did behind his back last season. Larry, who is looking to make amends with Fred, admits that Fred is right to be angry but hopes they can look past it and rebuild their friendship, creating a big awkward scene in front of the diner patrons and employees. As the argument further intensifies and gets even more awkward, Dennis comes marching into the diner with a silencer in hand, looking to kill two birds with one stone. Fred notices and recognizes him from the previous episode and flees with Larry into the streets. Dennis gives chase, causing a few casualties in the process. Eventually, Larry and Fred escapes Dennis' sights by hitching a ride on a transit train. As that goes on, in "This Isn't Ladies' Night", Tom once again takes the two Rechid boys for a night out on the town by sneaking them into a strip club in The Donx. Plans for the perfect evening fall through when club security starts to catch wind of their sneaky ways. Things go from bad to worse when members of the Oceanside Rip Thighs lay siege to the club to get back at Tommy for stealing Candy away from Scooter. Things get even worser when Tom is experiencing another chocolate-induced sugar rush. Then, things get even more ugly and grim when Old Man Jenkins arrives on the scene in his jalopy, looking to get some action and tailfin, but finds himself having to chauffeur them all back to the safe haven of Sea Queens. The ensuing wackiness triggers a war flashback in Jenkins, who is now hell-bent and intent on having them all fight back against the increasing Rip Thigh hordes.

S2E8 ) "Born Again Crustacean" and "Big Trouble In Little Yellow Sea": Larry decides to atone for his past sins by becoming a born again Christian. He starts down his road on the right path by righting the wrongs he has committed during his life such as returning his bodybuilding and powerlifting awards and trophies to their rightful winners, reconnecting with his estranged parents, and giving money to a man whose legs he broke while saving his life as a lifeguard. The only person left to make amends with is Fred Rechid, but will Fred let bygones be bygones and accept Larry as the changed man he claims himself to be, even when they're forced to work together again to save themselves from certain death? In "Big Trouble In Little Yellow Sea", Rick decides to treat Fred to some Chinese food at a restaurant in Little Yellow Sea (NKC's version of Chinatown) as a reward for themselves after their first court case together, even though they failed to prove their client's innocence. While dining and humorously talking about some of the issues that came up during The Strangler case, a grenade is suddenly flung into the restaurant onto the duo's table. It takes a while for them to notice, thinking it's some sort of chicken or duck, before finally hitting the deck as it explodes.Fred takes a peek outside through the wreckage and sees Dennis not too far away, armed with an assault rifle equipped with a GP-25. Fred and Rick are forced to hole up in the wrecked restaurant as Dennis toys around with them by firing shots and grenades every time before they even start making a movement. Fred and Rick manage to make a run for it with the helpful distraction of a stray rock. Dennis begins to notice the sound of police sirens coming his way so he discards the GP-25 for a silenced assault rifle, wanting to make this kill as subtle as possible. Dennis begins chasing down the dysfunctional pair all around the district, leaving casualty after casualty in their wake. Dennis catches a glimpse of Rick and recognizes him as another certain starfish he was hired to kill a pretty long while back. This supposed revelation throws the already crazed killer into a frenzy, even more intent on making sure he gets his men this time around. Fred and Rick take a detour down a subway tunnel, hoping they could lose the crazed and obsessed assassin down in its dark depths but that just proves to be even more of a challenge in itself. When they find themselves backed into a corner, Dennis finally speaks and tells them that he's been hired to kill them and Larry, thinking they will not live to tell anybody, but boy is he wrong as ever.

S2E9) "Last Of The Bag Men": Fearing anymore further attempts on his life by Dennis, Fred goes to the police but they prove to be of little help. Tommy suggests to his father that he should go out and find a bodyguard or some people who he can pay protection money to. Taking his eldest son's advice, he heads out to ask the elderly mob boss from Season One, Salvaccini Pesce, a favor. Salvaccini ultimately refuses his offer to accept his protection money, claiming that he's already providing protection for a lot of other "more important VIP's" and businesses to add someone insignificant to their list despite their history with each other. Salty Sal does advise Fred to go to more small-time gangs for help, though, saying they need the money more than his established crime family does. In the meantime, Tommy thinks ahead and tries to persuade his fellow Booty Boppin' Boys to lend his father some help and protection. They're all reluctant to do at first but once Tommy mentions the possible money they could be making, they quickly jump at the chance. When Dennis finally decides to rear in his ugly head once again, the Booty Boppers' protection skills are put to the test as they head into war with a master murderer. When the Boppers' numbers slowly decline one-by-one, it is ultimately up to Tommy to defend his father from a seemingly unstoppable menace all while they settle some personal matters amongst each other as well. Meanwhile, Sadie is out forging marriage certificates with some help from the Con Man, previously seen in the Season One episode, "Mr. Money In The Bank", who has apparently evaded, conned his way out of, or escaped jail for his ponzi schemes.

S2E10) "Quantity Time": Tom Smith is back and is looking to make up for all the trouble he helped cause in "This Isn't Ladies' Night" by taking the Rechid men out for another night on the town in glamourous Sponge Square. Fred is forced to pull out due to having prior obligations to work overtime at the law firm to help Rick with his latest case. Tommy already has plans made with Candy to go to Skull & Boney Island and Monroe was looking forward to another 'burn session' at the retirement home with Old Man Jenkins. Larry the Lobster arrives unexpectedly spreading the good word, having recently converted to being a Mormon. Tom comes up with an idea in his noodle to have everyone come along for a "Everybody's Night Out", but is met with mixed results from the Rechids, but they go along with it anyways, inviting over their respective guests. Fred, Tommy, Monroe, Tom, Larry, Rick, and Candy are now all cooped up in Old Man Jenkin's jalopy, with the old coot smoking hemp that slowly inebriates everybody else. Their first stop is Skull & Boney Island for an evening of "quality time fun" together. All is going well for a good few hours with everybody seemingly forgetting their troubles, until the Oceanside Rip Thighs arrive on scene terrorizing the place. Tom is out having a binge eating chocolate episode. Tommy and Candy try to convince everybody in their party to leave to very little success. Almost everybody has gone their own separate way in the amusement park, with Tommy and Candy hiding out from the Oceansiders in the nearby miniature golf course, preparing to escape through any means necessary leading to a one-on-one street fight between Tommy and Rip Thighs' leader, Scooter. Monroe and Old Man Jenkins are taken hostage inside the seemingly abandoned funhouse by the now-deformed and deranged former District Attorney, Bend Over, who wants to use the two stoners as bait to lure Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy into a trap in order to ultimately exact his revenge on them for what's happened to him since "The Dark Depths". Fred, Larry, and Rick are enjoying riding on all the rides, oblivious to the fact that they are secretly being stalked by Dennis, who is hell bent on killing all three of his targets here and now in this one-hour special full of action and hilarious suspense.

It's time for the last 5 episodes of of Break A Leg! in the Catch Up-A-Thon!

S2E11) "Dennis The Menace": It is All Hallow's Eve in New Kelp City and Fred and Rick once again find themselves working overtime at Fancyson & Son along with a few other disgruntled co-workers. Sadie is PMSing ever so constantly with each failed attempt Dennis has made on their lives, but Dennis assures her that he'll have all three of their 'heads' *wink wink* mounted on his wall before the New Year before engaging in very casual sex with her. As the night goes on the law offices power goes out and the phone lines are rendered dead, enshrouding everyone in darkness. The employees decide to pack it in for the night, but find out that they're locked inside with seemingly no way out. Fred and Rick quickly start to worry as if they know exactly what's going on, but Fred decides to get the power back on by heading to the boiler room anyways. One-by-one, their fellow co-workers are dealt a gruesome death, leaving only Fred and Rick to fend for themselves. They are given the harsh reality that they are once again being hunted down by Dennis, who is easily traversing his way throughout the entire building with a pair of trusty night vision goggles ala "Silence of the Lambs". Now, the two dysfunctional co-workers must once again work together to combat and escape a malicious threat who is much more dangerous and cunning than ever before, ending in a shootout with NKC's finest.

S2E12) "We'll Take The Case!": After the events of the previous episode and Dennis' apparent demise, families of the deceased are blaming Squilliam Fancyson III for what happened for unfairly forcing his employees to work so late at night when a psychopath could easily take advantage of any situation. They decide to sue him and the other two Fancysons for every cent they have. Squilliam chooses Rick as his defense attorney and has Fred assist him in proving his innocence, or else he'll have both their asses mounted on his prison cell wall. Fred goes above and beyond to find sufficient evidence that will . Meanwhile, Sadie takes it upon herself to kill Fred personally in order to claim all his money and life insurance and savings when he dies. In the meantime, Old Man Jenkins introduces Monroe to the wondrous invention, before the bong, known as a hookah.

S2E13) "Silent Night": Squilliam's trial has lasted well into the holiday season, with everything seemingly going against him. Fred gives him false hope that he and Rick will find a way to prove his innocence, but all hope seems to be lost as there is no sufficient evidence to use to plea Squilliam's case. With all the chaos he had been forced to endure the last few months, Fred decides to set up a security system around his house to further protect him and his family. On Christmas Eve night, Tommy decides to take Candy to Rock-A-Fella Center for a romantic evening, knowing Scooter and boys are no longer around to ruin it for them. Monroe also has plans to attend a rave with Old Man Jenkins to help ring in the holidays right, despite Fred's protests to have a Rechid Family Christmas Eve like before. Fred is now left home alone with nothing to do on Christmas Eve besides watching corny holiday specials and swigging eggnog for hours on end. Meanwhile, a clearly and increasingly mentally unstable Sadie finally enacts her revenge scheme to kill Fred so she can claim his money and life insurance with her false marriage certificate...if she can even step foot in the house. After some hilarious slapstick moments ala "Home Alone", Sadie finally infiltrates the Rechid residence and confronts her ex-fiance. Fred is shocked to see her in her current state, but she begins telling him how miserable her life has been since he left her at the altar. How she has been living a very poor life giving blowjobs to any desperate guy and lowlife she can find on the streets just to make a living for herself. Fred starts stating his case as to why he left her in the first place being a gold digging whore who was afraid of commitment. After hearing this, she finally reveals to Fred that she was the one who hired Dennis to kill him, as well as putting prices on Larry and Rick's heads, because she wanted Larry and Rick to pay as well for abandoning and exposing her for what she truly was. She also stated that the underlying reason she wanted Fred dead was so that she can collect on his life insurance and other savings after his death by forging fake marriage certificates. She finally turns psycho bitch when she takes a switchblade out from her bra and pounces at Fred. Meanwhile, both Tommy and Monroe start feeling regret for blowing their father off on Christmas Eve, despite the ill wills they feel towards him for putting his job before them. They both decide to head back home, taking their respective guests along with them. Fred is still fighting a war at home, trying to keep Sadie at bay long enough to get help but it ends up proving to be much too difficult. Giving him little choice, Fred fights back in self-defense and in a struggle for the switchblade, accidentally kills Sadie with it. Fred soon comes to realize that the security system's cameras he had set up should have the entire ordeal taped on video, providing sufficient evidence for Squilliam's case. But, even Fred can't help but feel guilty for what he had just done, even if it was out of self-defense. Tommy, Monroe, Candy, and Jenkins make it to the house as a blizzard starts blowing through and see the results of what had just transpired. They immediately call the police and they take their time arriving to the scene. As the ambulance take away Sadie's corpse, the Rechid family finally get together and at least try to comfort each other over everything that had transpired over the past season as this beautifully chilling tune plays in the background.

S2E14) "Ring In The New Year With A Bang": After the events that have transpired during the last episode, Fred and Rick finally proves Squilliam's innocence. As an apparent token of his gratitude, Squilliam agrees to give both of them a one percent raise in their salary and tells him to get out of his office immediately and enjoy the holiday off while they can. Fred decides to take the boys and Tom to Sponge Square to ring in the New Year right with a bang and some champagne. When they get there, the place is already crowded with millions of fish and that the party is already poppin'. After getting quite drunk, The Rechid MEN talks out about their problems and differences publicly in order to solve and overcome them. Fred admits that he does put his job before the boys because he wants to keep the family's ship afloat and to give his sons more freedom and to be happy but not too reckless and all that mumbo jumbo. Tommy admits that he has been rolling with the Booty Boppin' Boys in order to make a name for himself and tells them how he really met the love of his life, Candy. Monroe confesses his extracurricular activities with Old Man Jenkins and how it helps quell his pain and strain since being kicked off the football due to the steroids and how that costed him his chances at getting into a good college. Tom butts in and confesses that he has a 'chocolate problem', which has been quite obvious from the beginning, even after having an intervention staged for him last season. The four finally manhug it all out when their joyous moment is interrupted by a stray bullet that pierces Tom in his brains. The Rechids are in shock as their close family friend dies instantly before their very eyes. They duck and search frantically where the bullet came from. The crowds and noise make it near impossible, even to hear the bullet that shot Tom dead. Fred finally notices a familiar figure up in the distance, mounted near where the New Years Crystal Ball is going to drop for the final countdown. The figure turns out to be none other than Dennis, armed with a sniper rifle, who had apparently survived his ordeal in "Dennis The Menace". The Rechids frantically split up and run amongst the crowds to get to Dennis, but the master marksman is only taking aim at Fred, trying to make good on his promise to kill him before the New Year even though Sadie is already dead. Tommy and Monroe make their way up to Dennis the hard way, by going up through the building itself. Fred, desperate to get on level ground to get back at Dennis for all he's done, swipes a firework rocket from a bunch of punch drunks, who are all shot and subsequently killed by Dennis, and begins lighting the rocket for takeoff. He launches himself up at Dennis, who isn't quick enough to shoot Fred off the rocket, and braces for impact by slamming right into the crazed killer for hire. Fred finally confronts Dennis face-to-face and starts to (or at least attempts to) pound him back, blow for blow. Dennis quickly gets the upper hand by using his far superior size and strength to overpower Fred, as well as taunt him about his own shortcomings. Dennis starts pounding Fred to a bloody pulp, nearly beating him to death as the final countdown to the New Year is on. Right when it gets around 3, Tommy and Monroe, having swiped a few rockets themselves from the stash on the building to ring in the new year, fires a big red rocket at Dennis which nails him straight into the air right at the count of two. After the final count of one, the rocket explodes, finally killing and putting an end to Dennis (and ironically making him the first casualty of the new year), and triggers the rest of the fireworks to set off into the air. Fred is saved from death and the Rechid Men reunite once more at the top of Sponge Square. They lament at Tom's death before embracing in another group manhug as the season once again ends on a bittersweet note to this beautifully chilling background music.

Bury Me Not

Tom Smith is finally put to res, much to Fred's sadness. Ben Dover crashes the funeral party and flips coins to determine whether the Rechid takes it up the ass of not. Old Man Jenkins inadvertently save their lives when he accidentally lights Dover on fire with lighter fluid. They enjoy the funeral services while Ben Dover becomes Four-Face.

I've also forgot to put up characters and synopsis from Season 2 and 3 of Break A Leg! Here they are:

Show Title: "Break A Leg!"

Show/Season Two Synopsis: Previously on "Break A Leg!", small-time defense attorney, Rick Star, came upon Sadie and Larry oofing each other up mere moments before the wedding between Fred and Sadie. The adulterous twosome attempted to intimidate the dim-witted and sometimes questionable starfish, but it all appeared unnecessary seeing as how Rick seemingly let it foolishly slip his mind. When it was time for the "I Do's", Rick sprang into action, objected that the two should not be wed, and continued to reveal Sadie's true gold-digging nature. Fred, feeling betrayed, sprang forth on Larry with malicious intent. It's been months since the wedding bells last rung, and Fred has put the whole incident behind him. But apparently, someone else did not. Fred has become so absorbed into his new job as secretary for Squilliam Fancyson that he 's almost never home to a fulfill his full lifetime job of being a good father to his two already fucked up sons. In the meantime, Tommy is finding himself continually delving deeper and deeper into the increasingly physical, violent, and somewhat promiscuous side of a gangster's life while Monroe is finding himself wallowing in self pity with some surprising company in "light" of his own recent steroid scandal. On top of it all, Fred is receiving death threats all around NKC. Can the man who fears all things pain tough it all out before he loses everything, including his life? Let's just hope he breaks a leg. Bad pun/title placement, I know. Sue me.

Main Characters: (Updated +)

He is now making a pretty penny as a personal secretary for Squilliam Fancyson III at the law firm, "Fancyson & Sons", having to endure heart wrenching physical labor in the form of "errands" in order to test his loyalty and keep his job. He also works closely with fellow co-worker, Rick Star at times, doing his work for him much of the time. Also has to endure the wrath of a woman scorned in the form of his ex-fiance, Sadie, who he left at the altar during the Seaon One finale. In Season Two, he faces a boat-load of trouble in the form of his ex-fiance, Sadie and a malevolent killer for hire, who will simply kill anything that gets in the way of his primary target(s). While hell continues to freeze over his life, Fred must also bare witness to the increasingly evident self-destruction of his own family collapsing before his very eyes.

Sadie "Future Mrs. Rechid": Another background character from the original series who has a more prominent role in this series. She is Fred's ex-fiance. They were engaged for a period of time. She was very dominant over Fred, splurged his money, and often got after him with false accusations of adultery when in reality, she was the one cheating on Fred with lifestyle guru, Larry the Lobster. She used Fred for his money which she spent lavishly to satisfy her own material needs such as plastic surgery and clothes. She was not very fond of her ex-future stepsons, but they're STILL really fond of her. *wink wink* Being left at the altar by Fred has left her bitter, ashamed, vengeful, and completely embarrassed. Larry has also seemingly cut all ties with her, leaving her with no one in the end. PMSing to the max, Sadie is out for revenge in Season Two, literally bringing to light the saying, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".

Tommy Vincent Rechid: Seen previously as a background character in the original series. Tommy shows Fred more respect than his little brother, but doesn't put it above himself to intimidate his father along with his brother to give them a 'raise in their allowances'. He joined the Booty Boppin' Boys mid-way during Season One and proved himself to be both loyal and capable of being a leader in the hour-long special "No Way On The Subway". His family are unaware of his affiliations with the gang and he hopes to make it stay that way for the time to come. This season, Tommy will have to further prove himself to both his gang and his family to hilariously disastrous results, but when a special certain someone is introduced into his new life of petty crime, Tommy will have to go above and beyond to be both with and in her despite their quite obvious differences.

Monroe Timothy Rechid: Also seen as a background character in the original series. Whereas his father fears pain, Monroe takes sick pleasure in giving and receiving it, likely stemming from a past childhood experience in the original series as seen in the episode "Krabby Land". Literally taking the phrase "no pain, no gain" way too seriously. He is a recovering steroid junkie, having been introduced to the performance enhancing drug by his father's fiance's now former lover, Larry the Lobster, in order to improve his game on the field. He's been suspended from the team until further notice, even facing possible expulsion from his new school, and thinks his chances at getting into college on a sport scholarship are out of reach. With his father constantly working, he deals with both his emotional and physical pain by wallowing with a surprising new crowd and participating in extracurricular activities he thought he'd never find himself partaking in.

Last season, Tom was helping Fred find a suitable and good paying job, but his help always seemed to bite Fred back in the @$$ later on. Tom also tried to come to terms with his fatal chocolate addiction. Now, he claims to have been sober during the months that have followed the first season finale, but everybody knows that old habits die hard. In Season Two, due to Fred's increasingly overbearing schedule at Fancyson & Sons, Tom steps in as a father figure to Tommy and Monroe. He tries to connect with the boys in ways Fred hasn't even touched upon by taking them out for continuous nights on town with just them guys to disastrous and downright near-fatal results. But will he ready to deal with the problems the two Retchid boys will find themselves in in the episodes to come?

Rick Star: (Briefly seen in the Spongebob episode "Chocolate With Nuts") Is a dim-witted, sex crazed, and somewhat questionable pink starfish who is nearly identical to Patrick except he wears a shirt instead of pants. He's a co-worker of Fred's during the latter half of season one, working as a defense attorney for Fancyson & Sons. He is also a recovering cocaine addict, but is seen snorting a few ounces from time to time. He is also easily distracted from a situation, likely caused by his addiction and its side effects, but even Fred questions whether Rick was always this way with or without the drugs. Despite all this, Rick does have a few defining moments under his very stretched and unbuckled belt. He serves pretty much as Fred's own version of Patrick. Rick asks for Fred's help often with his cases, most of the time making Fred doing his work for him. Rick helps bring Sadie and Larry's relationship to light at the wedding during the first season finale. In Season 2, Rick uses this to have Fred help him out with some, if not, all of his cases. Rick reintroduces Fred to the Law, lighting up an old, dead passion in Fred once again to become a lawyer. When danger starts to lurk its ugly head, Rick is also caught in the crossfires, fighting alongside Fred in order to keep both of their lives in tact.

Recurring Characters: (Updated +)

Larry the Lobster: A former professional bodybuilder, powerlifter, and part-time lifeguard from the original series. He is the guy that Sadie was seeing behind Fred's back. *wink wink* This season, Larry looks to atone for his past sins by cutting ties with Sadie and rebuild his cherished friendship with Fred, who is really less than eager to accept Larry back into his life. But when Larry finds himself caught up in the same hell that Fred has gotten himself into, they'll have to let bygones be bygones in order to ensure their safety and survival in a concrete jungle where they have somehow became the prey.

Is also filthy stinkin' rich, sometimes implying he has more influence in the city than what he lets on. First introduced during the final episodes of Season One, we're given insight into Squilliam's articulate mind and lifestyle. He sees potential in Fred, but feels that Fred must overcome his fears of pain in order to fully harness it. What potential he actually sees exactly is quite shrouded in mystery. Squilliam continues torturing Fred during Season Two, but when he finds himself in some legal trouble that he can't easily buy himself out of, he's forced to have Rick and Fred collaborate in order to ensure his freedom.

Old Man Jenkins: An old coot of a man, who always seems to have a different look in each of his appearances, from the old series who is now NKC's oldest living fish. He loves the young people, constantly admiring, and sometimes envying, their youth, energy, and vigor on multiple occasions. He once resided in Bikini Bottom, but has since moved to live out the rest of his life in the glamourous and adventurous New Kelp City, wanting to live it up before he inevitably dies. He's a war veteran, having served in the Pacific, Atlantic, Mediterranean, and Adriatic before retiring, causing him to sometimes suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder and randomly being caught in war flashbacks. He was a hippie during his days after the army and was an avid stoner, attending the first annual Driftwood Festival of '69 He is also a fan of old music, having many old records and memorabilia around his room in the retirement home. He's first introduced to Monroe Timothy Rechid through a community service program the younger Rechid boy was obligated to take part in as punishment for his steroid abuse. The Old Man introduces Monroe to new outlets for his physical and emotional strain and pain, as well as a world where up is down, the laws of physics don't apply, and trees are cheese.

Dennis: A highly skilled mercenary first seen in the "Spongebob Squarepants Movie". He has killed every target he has been tasked to take out...well, all except for two; Spongebob and Patrick. He takes his failure to kill the two very hard on himself, often times cutting himself as self-punishment for this failure as well as any other he may make. Besides that, he is otherwise calm, cool, and very calculating when it comes to the kill. He also shows off his very blunt violent side by randomly killing or beating up anybody that may prove to be an obstacle. He also has a habit of taking time out of his hunt to either shave his very masculine facial or pubic hairs with a trusty (and rusty) razor knife that he keeps around his neck as a pendant of sorts for his chain necklace. He keeps trophies from his targets, either taking their nose or penis depending on whether it's a male or female he's tasked to kill. In Season Two, he is a hired assassin, paid off by Sadie to kill and/or castrate Fred and if possible, Larry and Rick, as revenge on each of them for seemingly ruining her life during and after the first season finale.

The Booty Boppin' Boys: Formerly known as the "Bubble Poppin' Boys", they are one of NKC's most feared street gangs after the events of Season One's "No Way On The Subway". Tommy Vincent Rechid is a recently patched in member, who is looking to work his way up the gang's food chain. The gang often terrorizes the citizens of Sea Queens, which is their main turf. They have a few protection rackets set up around the underwater borough as a means to make easy cash. Their rivals are the Oceanside Rip Thighs, who they battle almost constantly on a daily basis and were the ones who framed them for the murder of The Reefs' leader, the long, tan, and handsome Octavius Rex.

Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy: A pair of senile semi-retired superheroes from the original series. They also relocated to New Kelp City, feeling that the big city needed their help more than Bikini Bottom, but more often then not, make the situation worse than before. They currently reside in the same retirement home as Old Man Jenkins. Mermaid Man often uses his age and former glory to flirt on bodacious women many years his junior, while Barnacle Boy secretly struggles to contend with his long list of STDs, which is how the name 'Barnacle Boy' came to be. They encounter Monroe Rechid quite sporadically throughout Season Two, often getting the young man involved when trying to apprehend criminals. Now that they're in a whole new city and environment, they now must face a whole new breed of edgy, dark, grim, and extremely violent criminals and evildoers who strive to bring the entire city to its knees.

Candice "Candy" Lips: A pretty and quite sophisticated flying squirrel who has immigrated into the deep blue in order to start a new life in the supposedly thriving New Kelp City and to escape the harsh life of being a land critter in a very harsh environment. She ends up finding herself being smuggled down as arm candy for the Oceanside Rip Thighs leader, Scooter, who tends to verbally and physically abuse her on more than one occasion. She is forced to swear loyalty to Scooter and the Oceansiders or face impending death. She catches the lustful eyes of Tommy Vincent Rechid, who vows to get into her pants or die trying. She wants to be treated more better than just being seen as some beautiful bimbo that everybody seems to assume she is, which is the main reason why she left land for the ocean but finds it eerily just the same.

Scooter: A character previously seen in the original series as a simple surf bum. He now resides in New Kelp City as the apparent vicious and annoying leader of the Oceanside Rip Thighs. The Rip Thighs control most of River Brooklyn and are constantly at war with the Booty Boppin' Boys for more territory and businesses. He was the driving force behind the assassination of the long, tan, and handsome Octavius Rex which set off the events of the Season One episode, "No Way On The Subway". He forcefully keeps Candy around as his bitch and constantly abuses her both verbally and physically. When Candy catches the eyes of the Booty Bopper, Tommy Vincent, Scooter retaliates in a fit of rage and wages all-out war against the gang from Sea Queens. He appears sporadically throughout Season Two, most often sending his goons out to do his fighting for him. When push comes to shove, Scooter decides to take matters personally and into his own hands.

(WARNING: MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS!!)

Show Title: "Break A Leg!"

Show/Season Three Synopsis: Previously on "Break A Leg!", The Rechid Men have seemingly overcame all obstacles that were put up in each of their respective paths. Fred thwarted his ex-fiance's revenge scheme to have him killed and reap the sweet rewards, Tommy put a swift end to Scooter and the Oceanside Rip Thighs' hold over Candy's life as well as preserving the well-being of the Booty Boppin' Boys so they could live to fight another day, and Monroe helped Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy save New Kelp City from two powerful forces of evil, thus rebuilding some of his reputation in the eyes of his peers and fellow big city citizens. But with the untimely demise of Tom Smith, the Rechid clan are left to mourn the death of their close family friend, with each of them finding different ways to cope with it. Fred is still working at Fancyson & Sons and finally learns what his job description truly entails. Tommy Vincent is still rolling with the Booty Boppin' Boys, quickly winning the favor of his fellow Booty Boppers, but when their long dormant leader is finally released from a local correctional facility, Tommy quickly finds himself at odds with his superior and all while trying to juggle an increasingly complicated and somewhat dangerous relationship with land critter, Candy. Monroe Timothy is welcomed back into school with open arms from his peers, but things quickly go downhill before the fun really starts, leaving the youngest Rechid to take up even more deadly extra-curricular activities to let his anger out, along with being taken under the wing of a very old friend. Can Monroe beat back the competition? Will Tommy finally get into Candy's pants? Can the man who fears all things pain, Fred, handle the pressures of whatever the hell his job really is? Let's just hope he breaks a leg. Bad pun/title placement, I know. Sue me.

Main Characters: (Updated +)

Fred Rechid: (A.K.A. "My Leg!" Guy from the original series) A mild-mannered everyday man who suffers from agliophobia, other wise known as a fear of pain, most likely caused from his days of torment back in Bikini Bottom. He is very money conscious, but is not incredibly greedy like Mr. Krabs. Has two teenaged sons from a previous marriage. He also works closely with fellow co-worker, Rick Star at times, doing his work for him much of the time. Was forced to kill his ex-fiance, Sadie, out of self-defense during Season Two in order to preserve both his life and savings. His life was also threatened by master marksman, Dennis, who was hired by Sadie to kill Fred for her in order to reap his life savings, but with the help of his two sons, they sent Dennis to a watery grave above Sponge Square. This season, Fred is living a pretty good life with the money he's making until he is made aware of Squilliam's true intentions for him and must face whoever or whatever poses to be a threat to the Fancyson empire. In order to get over Tom's untimely death, Fred tries his hand at dating, both in and out of the workplace, because that was what Tom was pushing for Fred to do.

Tommy Vincent Rechid: Seen previously as a background character in the original series. Tommy shows Fred more respect than his little brother, but doesn't put it above himself to intimidate his father along with his brother to give them a 'raise in their allowances'. Last Season, he helped the Booty Boppin' Boys put an end to Scooter's hold over Candy as well as take out a large number of Oceanside Rip Thighs members. He also helped his father to pacify Dennis permanently, sending the murderer for hire to a shallow grave above the big city. This season, Tommy believes he has it all; the money, the power, and the girl of his dreams. But all of that comes to a standstill when the Booty Boppin' Boys' leader is finally released from a local correctional facility. Tommy immediately gets on his bad side and must brace himself for some shit when things really start to boil up. His love life with Candy also hits a major snag when he starts coping with his grief through a few shots, and when an unwanted influx of land critters start migrating down deep south, overcrowding the big city, and causes an uproar among sea creatures that could very likely carry on until next season.

Monroe Timothy Rechid: Also seen as a background character in the original series. Whereas his father fears pain, Monroe takes sick pleasure in giving and receiving it, likely stemming from a past childhood experience in the original series as seen in the episode "Krabby Land". Literally taking the phrase "no pain, no gain" way too seriously. Last season, Monroe found himself booted from the football team and forced to do volunteer work at the local retirement home, where he found an unlikely friend in Old Man Jenkins as well as becoming acquainted with semi-retired superheroes, Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy, who he has helped with saving the city on more than one occasion. Jenkins introduced the Rechid boy to the world of recreational drugs and good music, better than most shit kids listen to these days. Monroe also helped his father put down Dennis once and for all by splattering him all over Sponge Square with a big red rocket. This season, Monroe returns to his school as a cult hero for his hand in helping Mermaid Man & Barnacle Boy put an end to The Clownfish's rampage and Bend Over's ritualistic anal killings, but things start crashing down almost immediately when old habits begin to resurface. Now Monroe is looking for another outlet to dish out his anger and grief, taking Old Man Jenkins along for the ride as his mentor.

He also found himself to be a target of Sadie's vengeance in the form of Dennis, but his life is saved in the end. This season, he is still Fred's co-worker and often times asks for Fred's assistance in some his cases. He also finds himself having a mid-life crisis and plans to make himself feel younger by joining the ranks of the Booty Boppin' Boys.

Squilliam Fancyson III: An antagonistic character previously seen in multiple Spongebob episodes. He works with his father and grandfather at the law firm, Fancyson & Sons, but has authority over majority of his employees, who often takes the time out of his day to abuse both verbally and physically. He believes that everyone and everything has a price. Is also filthy stinkin' rich, sometimes implying he has more influence in the city than what he lets on. Last season, Squilliam was hit with a major class-action lawsuit that even he couldn't buy himself out of, forcing him to call upon the combined services of both Rick Star and Fred Rechid to prove his innocence, which they did. This season, Squilliam's true intentions for Fred becomes quite clear, using Fred as a hired gun to protect the Fancyson Empire from any outside threat and keeping his grip on the city ever tighter, proving that he has quite a lot of influence over everything in the city. He is also performing favors for almost every gang and crime syndicate in the city in order to suck them all into each of his suction cups in order to truly run things in the city, but some crime families are wise enough to not give in to his hospitality, forcing Squilliam to have Fred "take care" of them for him. He is also pressuring Larry to operate a chop shop operation and car theft ring for him. He is also a proprietor for the NKC underground fighting league, which Monroe has found himself to become a mainstay for. His presence also threatens Tommy and the Booty Boppin' Boys, as well as all the other street gangs who may prove to an annoyance.

Candice "Candy" Lips: A pretty and quite sophisticated flying squirrel who has immigrated into the deep blue in order to start a new life in the supposedly thriving New Kelp City and to escape the harsh life of being a land critter in a very harsh environment. She ended up finding herself being smuggled down as arm candy for the Oceanside Rip Thighs leader, Scooter, who tended to verbally and physically abuse her on more than one occasion. This season, she's still with Tommy, who is becoming more of a drunk with each swig, but is caught in the middle of a perpetual civil war that tests their relationship to its very limits. She also inadvertently incites a city-wide uproar against land creatures.

Recurring Characters: (Updated +)

Larry the Lobster: A former Season One antagonist and professional bodybuilder, powerlifter, and part-time lifeguard from the original series. He is the guy that Sadie was seeing behind Fred's back. *wink wink* Last season, Larry looks to atone for his past sins by cutting ties with Sadie and rebuild his cherished friendship with Fred, who was really less than eager to accept Larry back into his life. But when Larry found himself caught up in the same hell that Fred had gotten himself into, they managed to get over the past and worked together to evade Dennis' grip over their lives. This season, Larry decides to start up his own automotive dealership franchise all across the city by purchasing other small-time dealerships/garages/etc. In reality, he is being pressured by Squilliam to use these dealerships as fronts for a system of chop shops, hiring both mechanics and people crazy enough to jack cars that could prove to be of value to him, even getting the Rechids in on the action.

The Old Man introduces Monroe to the world of recreational drugs as a means to deal with the pain and strain. This season, OMJ has officially taken the youngest Rechid boy under his wing as Monroe prepares to enter the world of underground fighting, providing him with insight into real "army stuff" fight moves.

Goby Caspian: Pakhan of the Caspian Bratva of the NKC Russian Mafiya. He controls some much sought after business and runs plenty of rackets all across River Brooklyn as well as Sea Queens. Squilliam is pressuring him to be a part of his "conglomerate" but Goby is not buying what Squilliam is selling, claiming that Squilliam would just toss him aside and take over his gang and businesses as if it were his own. Squilliam has Fred deal with the situation throughout the season, leading to some death and bloodshed.

Salvethymus Sterlet: A Russian Mobster who is ratting Goby out to the police (which Squilliam owns) behind his back. Has bigger plans in store as the season goes on.

Harvey "Harley" Kipper: The actual leader of the Booty Boppin' Boys, who has spent the past two years locked up in a correctional facility. He's a violent and somewhat mentally unstable fish who wants to see nothing more than to see other unfortunate souls suffer. Seriously, this guy embodies everything of what a sociopath is. The gang seems to fear him greatly and always do whatever he tells him to do, the only exception being Tommy, who feels as if Harley doesn't even respect his own gang. Tommy immediately gets on Harley's bad side because of this, and things boil over even more when Harley finds out that Tommy is going out with a land critter, which he despises greatly due to an apparent prejudice he has towards land animals. While deep inside, Harley sees the potential Tommy has, he also feels Tommy's rebellious ways could get the gang sacked. This is something he uses to turn most of the gang against Tommy later on.

Jamu "Killer" Wails: The underground fighting league promoter, announcer, and former USMMA World Champion. He heads all the underground fighting that goes on in New Kelp City. He is paid off by Squilliam to make sure things run smoothly and that profits are being made. He is a very loud, brash, and narcissistic killer whale with a fighting style that matches. He goes behind Squilliam's back by having every match ending with death. He almost never defends his title, usually by underhandedly killing his challengers before the match even begins. Monroe vows to take him down, but does he have a chance? Really??

Ever since putting a stop to the Clownfish and Bend Over, the semi-retirees have a enjoyed a life of solace and peace, until they face even more villains created as parodies of the Batman Rogues Gallery as well as others.

Karen Plankton: Sheldon J. Plankton's ex-wife. Gets involved in a blind date date with Fred, but things just get ugly from there.

Carl: Former manager of Krabby O' Mondays. Now, he's Fred and Rick's co-worker and supervisor of the law firm. Assigned by Squilliam to keep tabs on Rechid to make sure he's doing what Squilliam tells him to do, often times downright stalking him.

Nancy O'Malley: A Policewoman previously seen in the original series, having transferred to New Kelp City due to all the action that goes on down there. She first encounters Fred when she arrested him after he had previously just had a shootout with some gangsters. They become quite smitten with each other, often trading flirtatious banter. Serves as Fred's love interest.
