A Day With SpongeBob SquarePants: The Movie is an unauthroized mockumentary movie based on the series SpongeBob SquarePants (series) . It was produced by Inovisim Films. It was released straight to DVD on November 22, 2011. In this mockumentary, SpongeBob lives in Hollywood like all superstars, and holds a contest for a young kid to spend the day with him. This movie is an unathorized mockumentary, released straight to DVD on November 22, 2011. It doesn't count as part of the series or as an "official" SpongeBob movie. It was produced by Inovism Films, not Nickelodeon, in fact, Nickeodeon really didn't even have anything to do with it at all, except for giving permission to the SpongeBob SquarePants name.
