Guest hilaryfan80 Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 I really think this is an outrage. What they're doing is they're combining over 60 different Google products into one privacy policy -- this makes sense, but this means that ads will be able to know some extra information about you. For example, let's say you get a spam email in Gmail about "maximum growth pills". Under this new policy, which will be released on March 1st, you might see a YouTube recommendation for "maximum growth pills" videos (I kid you not). And if you type a paper on the issues of virginity on Google Docs, you may see YouTube recommending you sex videos. This is a huge privacy concern for me, so I'm going to be closing my Google account on February 29th.
Pinhead Larry Posted February 5, 2012 Posted February 5, 2012 Good thing I never had a Google account to begin with. I don't need this.
