Guest ssj4gogita4 Posted November 30, 2011 Posted November 30, 2011 Can everyone just shut up about this? *high five*
Guest ssj4gogita4 Posted December 2, 2011 Posted December 2, 2011 Sorta a bug but in a way it's not...just something to look at. Could be the server or the forum software but this forum loads so much slower than any other forum I visit. I would say the load times average at about 10-15 seconds. I'm not complaining about SBC as a forum but the load time is something someone should be looking at. Hopefully, I'm not the only one that has this issue. edit: loading times are for: 1) just coming to the forum 2) trying to view topics 3) posting a reply/editing edit 2: I would love to help if I can (look at statistics and stuff) but only if you really want me to. I just want to see someone elses forum succeed. edit 3: seems someone actually did something or the server isn't crap for now. Good job! But still slow at times.
JCM Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 There are times when the forum loads quick as crap and times when it pretty much doesn't load at all. I can deal with it, though. It doesn't really affect my experience here that much.
Guest ssj4gogita4 Posted December 4, 2011 Posted December 4, 2011 Still, someone should probably look at all the resources that are being used.
Jjs Goodman Posted December 12, 2011 Author Posted December 12, 2011 The search system has been fixed in Pinkie Pie and Palais Dolly.
Guest ssj4gogita4 Posted December 18, 2011 Posted December 18, 2011 Still the problem with the snow/toolbar at the bottom. I think I figured out the problem, though. The snow continues past the sides and it screws up with the scrollbar that goes left-right. edit: snow follows the mouse. So if I go to the right or left, that scrollbar will keep appearing. Ugh.
JCM Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 So yeah, I'm getting a bunch of database errors. Just putting that out there.
Old Man Jenkins Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I don't know if anybody else is seeing this, but whenever Sbs1fan posts somewhere, the reply box is immediately under his sig and the thread just ends there, despite there being people that posted after him.

thespongebobfan Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 Yeah I just noticed this too, I think it has to do with my signature
JCM Posted December 29, 2011 Posted December 29, 2011 I don't remember his signature being anything extraordinary. What's going on?
Clappy Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yeah I just noticed this too, I think it has to do with my signatureWell it definitely is not your signature because it is still happening now. Seriously confused.
JCM Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Well it definitely is not your signature because it is still happening now. Seriously confused. Nope, it was his signature. Quick Reply is working fine now under him.
thespongebobfan Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Yeah nothing happens if I don't use my siggy, I tried to edit my signature in settings but it wouldn't let me so idk.
Jjs Goodman Posted December 30, 2011 Author Posted December 30, 2011 Sbs1fan, I fixed your signature issue. It was due to the HTML you put in it. VB doesn't recommend putting HTML in your signatures, just so you guys know. I've disabled it so that won't happen again.
JCM Posted December 30, 2011 Posted December 30, 2011 There was probably just an open tag or something in that case.
Steel Sponge Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Previewing my comment on the coding I recieved, this is what my code looked like for my Glove World Store: The - 0 doubloons was repeated 15 more times and the same items listed above were repeated after that. I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but yeah, it looked like that.
