Kowalski Posted November 27 Posted November 27 Premieres: Monday, December 2nd at 5:30pm ET/PT Plot: Squidina has to direct her school holiday play, but her script is mangled by Patrick. Christmas special for The Patrick Star Show.
Snoopy Posted December 3 Posted December 3 Note to Squidina; for future reference, NEVER work on a project for three sleepless nights TRYING to work on a Christmas Play (unless she only HAD three nights to work with, but STILL...)! Second, ALWAYS type your written stuff on a computer so that you can PRINT more copies easily, and ALWAYS save it ON your computer! Third, never, ever, EVER give a copy of your play to Patrick, or his INEVITABLE clumsiness and stupidity will inevitably RUIN all your hard work! To his credit, Patrick SOMEHOW was ABLE to write a completely brand-new, improvised play rather fast!...Too bad he has no IDEA what holidays are really about! And the situation gets even WORSE when one of the FIRST things that Patrick's script calls for, is for all the KID actors to board on a prop school bus, to be BLASTED around the world on a rocket! Needing to improvise, Squidina quickly gathers some back-up actors from WITHIN the auditorium, to help her tell her story! Patrick is Baby New Year, Grandpat is Father Time. Sandy and Perch Perkins play as the Groundhog and its shadow, and they have a battle supreme in order to determine whether it will be spring or winter! Next, Bubble Bass is HORRIFIED when he THINKS that for Valentines Day, he will have to fall in LOVE with Baby Prunes! Thankfully, she's ONLY the Cupid; and Bubble Bass' romantic partner is Granny Tentacles, which Bubble Bass DOES admit is an IMPROVEMENT! But before they can even TRY to kiss, Patrick's descendant interrupts the proceeding, in trying to DESTROY Cupid's Sweetheart treats! Next, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated, with Mr. Krabs as St. Patrick, fighting the evil Leprechaun played by Plankton! This episode really COULD'VE been an hour long episode at least; I would've LOVED to see Easter, and some of the OTHER holidays explored in more detail! In any case, it looks like Spongebob will save the day dressed up as Santa...until Spongebob's OWN clumsiness kicks in, and ruins HIS costume! Than the situation goes from bad to worse, when the rocket bus with all the kid actors returns, and SMASHES into the auditorium, and the Kid Actors get into a fight with the substitute actors for stealing their roles! But luckily, Patrick ACTUALLY gets an idea! He and Spongebob somehow manage to get Santa HIMSELF to come to a play...apparently, because he owes Spongebob and Patrick a couple of favors! Even though Patrick and Bubble Bass are ON the Naughty List, he decides to ignore it, and let EVERYONE have a BIG present for Christmas! I'd give this episode a 9.9 out of 10! (The only reason it's NOT perfect, is because some of the holidays weren't EXPLORED in as much detail as they could've been.) Enough said, true believers!
