Happy 15 Years, SBC!

SBC has somehow made it to our 15th birthday, which is a milestone I’m sure many never expected us to reach. It’s surreal seeing how far we’ve come from a small scrappy refuge forum in 2009 to a somewhat large friend group that happens to circle around SpongeBob in 2024. SBC has continued to be my favorite place to be on the internet and I’m proud of how it’s evolved over the years. Forums are sadly a dying breed and while our Discord may be the center of activity now, I still enjoy keeping the forum around for nostalgia and other purposes. Whether you celebrate our anniversary through the forum or Discord, it doesn’t matter as both are equally valid. Now here’s special sentimental words from several members:

I owe a special thanks to everyone’s who helped keep the community afloat over these 15 years. Even if you don’t visit the community often anymore, your contributions are still greatly appreciated and your presence will never be forgotten. SBC will always be around in some form and that’s the beauty of it. I said during our 10th anniversary there’s something almost magical about this community and that remains true. Now go on and enjoy the Anthemic Anniversary festivities! We’ve also temporarily reopened our old forumotion site if you want a trip down memory lane. Happy birthday, everyone!
