Couple eps behind so I'll be brief this time:

KBBB sux but I think it missed my list this time. Lacking in funny and in any merit of watching

WhoBob WhatPants is also bad, probably the first episode in order I really don't like. Outside of a couple sight gags and maybe mildly funny lines there's nothing good to really come back to. Didn't make my list though.

YM&M was an easy contender for my list. Such a bad episode. Sometimes criticisms of Patrick being insufferable are overblown, but not here. Hard pressed to find anything to enjoy about what amounts to two oversized toddlers fighting over a toy.

Summer Job is so bad bro. Should have stuck this on my list. 11 minutes straight of pure dead air. There's another episode I hope makes the list that's even worse in this regard though.

OCM is not that bad. Plankton being driven nearly to suicide was kind of wtf and Spongebob backstabbing him at the end was insidious but the opening scene was genuinely one of the best sequences in the entirety of season 7. I don't think this episode is much more than mid in the long run. Also Wacky Bucks is one of the few actually funny jokes this season pulled off.

SitKwS easily made my list. Nothing funny about it, just pure tedium and poorly written background fish. Nothing good to write about this one.

14.  Now that I haven't suffocated, it's high time I got back to this list of house-sitting duties.

House Sittin for Sandy - 91 points

5 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #7, @SquiddyFace @OWM @BoJack Horseman) (+9)

Season: 8

Writers: Aaron Springer, Sean Charmatz, Derek Iversen

Plot: SpongeBob's house-sitting stint at Sandy's goes perfectly smoothly until Patrick arrives for a visit.

Season 8 is full of sleep medication and House Sittin for Sandy is one of its strongest pills. I'm not surprised it went up the rankings (even if it missed my list by a hair) because this is such a nothing episode where absolutely nothing happens until I don't know...6th minute or something. What's funny is that they made a joke out of something the storyboard artists forgot to do...draw SpongeBob's water helmet as SpongeBob completely forgot about it until Patrick pointed that out, he even asked "what's that funny thing on your head?" well what do you think??? Patrick didn't help at all and made this borefest worse than it was. Also, the fact that Sandy wanted them to destroy her treedome so that she tests her new invention is such a stupid reason. She could have destroyed something herself and fix it with that thing. This episode also has a dumb "here we go again" ending with the robot breaking Sandy's invention and not being able to fix her treedome anymore, and all of this could have been avoided if she didn't manipulate SpongeBob and Patrick into house-sitting.

13. Sigh... he's so handsome!

Are You Happy Now? - 140 points

7 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #3, @Shark Tale @Hotel Mario) (-4)

Season: 8

Writers: Luke Brookshier, Marc Ceccarelli, Dani Michaeli

Plot: SpongeBob tries to help Squidward find his happiest memory.

And here is the big point gap I was talking about...our #13 ahead of #14 by a whooping 49 points! I noticed this episode also left SBC's bottom 10 and I think so did mine but it's still one of the lowest points of this show and right now I'm even thinking "should I have put it #14 on my list after all?". I even think it was a nice concept as it's cool to have SpongeBob find a happy memory for Squidward but after he failed to do so, the episode turned into such a dark tone where Squidward felt very depressed and miserable. The suicide jokes are executed in the worst way possible that it doesn't look like I'm watching SpongeBob...I don't feel like ranting too much about it in this review though. The ending is actually the part that pisses me off the most because SpongeBob, unaware of how Squidward is feeling, just kidnaps him in a box and brings him to the Krusty Krab, then surprises him with dozens of papier mâché SpongeBobs. Of course this makes Squidward lose his mind and begins attacking them, but SpongeBob finds this nice to look at??? Sigh, he's sooooo brainless...

One Coarse Meal is honestly an ok episode IMO. I always felt like people felt a moral need to hate it after Mr Enter reviewed it because of the suicide scene and how that was supposedly fucked up, but like....it really isn't that big of a deal? There's nothing morally wrong about putting a suicide attempt in a fictional show. I wouldn't say its a great scene or anything like that, but it's fine. Just a scene I don't really care about. Beyond that, I feel the episode is a mixed bag. Mr Krabs tormenting Plankton like this for two weeks when he isn't even trying to steal the formula is a bit much, even for Krabs. It was also kinda questionable for Spongebob that he says he has good nature, only to backstab Plankton in the end, though iirc Mr Krabs threatened Spongebob for telling Mr Krabs to stop? ngl I don't remember for certain. On the flip side however, it had a pretty fun first 2-3 minutes or so, and I think the idea of Plankton being terrified of whales, even Pearl, is interesting. I also think the nightmare scene was really cool. Overall it's just an ok episode, doesn't really deserve to be here IMO.

Someone's in the Kitchen With Sandy, however, is a bad episode that deserves to be here. It only missed my list by a couple places. This episode's writing is just horrible. It literally makes no sense. First of all, how in the world does anyone (and in fact, everyone) fall for Plankton's plan? People see "Sandy" with no underwater suit or even air helmet, and a completely empty face, and a completely different voice, and think it's actually her??? It's ridiculous. And then why does Sandy have to leave the treedome "naked"? Plankton only took her fur, not her underwater suit. There's no reason she couldn't wear that. In fact, she NEVER does that anyway, so why would she even consider just leaving without it? If she wore it, only her face and tail would be visibly furless, I doubt the bikini bottomites would care about that. Speaking of that.....why do the bikini bottomites care??? She isn't even naked. She's still wearing a skirt and bra. So she's not even naked, just furless. And it's not like the bikini bottomites are fully clothed either. In fact, a lot of them are naked themselves. So why do they even care? It makes no sense. This whole episode just makes zero sense. I don't know what they were thinking when they made this episode lol. The episodes on my list are just less enjoyable to watch, which is why it missed, but this episode was not far behind.

I've seen people on discord say that House Sittin for Sandy almost feels like an AI generated episode of Spongebob, and honestly.....I can't say I disagree. This is one of the blandest and most boring episodes of the show. The fact they didn't even remember to put Spongebob's helmet on and then made a joke about it partway throughout the episode says a lot about how much of a budget this season had. They couldn't afford to go back and add the helmet in. Animation is reused multiple times as well. The one thing I DO like about this episode however, is the ending. The fact that Sandy knew Spongebob would destroy everything, and she just wanted to use her new fixing gun thing, is very funny. It also looks like Sandy is so angry at Spongebob that she's about to shoot him, which is also really funny. Spongebob accidentally destroying everything again, and then Sandy's fixing gun also getting broken, was also very funny. But outside of the ending, this episode is really bad.

Are You Happy Now is a weird episode. Why did they think putting in such blatant suicide jokes were a good idea? With other suicide jokes throughout the series, it felt less serious, or wasn't with a character who's depressed. But in this episode, Squidward is outright depressed, and this is done in a serious way and not a comedic way, so it's just strange. Admittedly, I never really cared about the suicide jokes, but I don't blame people for hating the episode because of them. Outside of that, this episode is boring, and has a terrible ending that makes zero sense. Why would Squidward suddenly say he doesn't want a happiest memory after being depressed about it for weeks? It makes no sense. And how crazy he goes over his enjoyment of destroying the paper Spongebobs was a bit jarring. And then Spongebob's line "He's so handsome" is also really weird. Why does he find this handsome? What???? This episode wasn't on my list, but it's still pretty bad.

The Clash of Triton - 158 points

9 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #4, @WhoBibbles @Less_SpongeBob ) (+2)

Season: 6

Writers: Casey Alexander, Zeus Cervas, Aaron Springer, Steven Banks, Paul Tibbitt

Plot: It's King Neptune's birthday, and SpongeBob wants to make sure his friends and family are there, including his son, Triton, but Neptune and Triton don't get along.

Middle post-sequel doesn't have good specials overall but Clash of Triton is one of the most nothing specials you can even find in the show. This is probably the only SpongeBob episode I actually fell asleep to. When I watched this episode for the first time I thought it was going to be a bit more focused on Neptune's birthday but nope we got scenes of him crying for his son Triton after putting him in a cage unfairly for ages while the rest of the episode is SpongeBob looking for Triton and of course theses scenes are painfully boring as well. I don't have much to say honestly because I haven't seen this episode in ages, but it's pretty clear that it's such a snooze fest.

Big Sister Sam - 160 points

8 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #2, @El Jacko) (+2)

Season: 7

Writers: Casey Alexander, Zeus Cervas, Richard Pursel

Plot: Patrick's sister Sam comes to visit him.

This is yet another episode I was debating whether I should have added it to my list or not (I didn't). Apart from being boring like 90% of season 7, Sam is such an unlikeable character who is even dumber than Patrick and acts more like a wild animal. This episode is basically Sam destroying things because she is so into it and annoying Squidward and SpongeBob, even by destroying their houses, hahahaha laugh she destroyed things!!!!The worst part is that Patrick DEFENDS Sam's actions, by telling them they are rude for calling out Sam, even though everything she does has bad intentions. I also don't understand the ending...why does she have two faces? Is there something I missed? Even if it's just Sam having two moods this is such a poor way to portray it.

Big Sister Sam was in my bottom 10. The fact that it's one of the worst in season 7 says a lot. Sister Sam might be the single worst character ever introduced in the series; she's just an ugly brute who destroys things, easily gets angry, and almost makes Patrick look smart. There's nothing interesting about her at all, nor anything likable. Just a bland, unfunny, and hateable character who's most unique character element is saying "blecorate". All she does in the episode is constantly steal and destroy things, completely destroy Squidward and Spongebob's house, and then finally fuck off when she hurts Patrick. Everytime Squidward or Spongebob complain about what Sam is doing, Patrick defends her, even though what she's doing is blatantly bad. This episode is just annoying, boring, and extremely unfunny.

The Sponge Who Could Fly is a good episode IMO. I like the songs during it, and there's some good jokes throughout it. But weirdly enough, this is one of the few episodes where the patchy scenes are actually better than the SB scenes. Patchy's adventure to find the lost episode, turning it on only to get the cheap walk cycles, and then especially the I'M GETTING RID OF ALL MY SPONGEBOB STUFF scene, is just hilarious. The episode would just be okay without the patchy scenes, but the patchy scenes are actually what makes this episode good, which is very rare.

Gullible Pants is such a boring episode and it's on my bottom 25. I never really understood why this episode only ever managed to get onto HMs, so I'm glad to see it in HMs again (which this time, is basically like just making it onto the list for previous ones since its still in bottom 50). This episode is just so painfully boring, and every attempt at humor is so unfunny and lame, and even gross or confusing at times. It's such a strange and stupid episode and I don't like it at all. In hindsight, a lot of season 6 episodes were way better than they're given credit for, but this is not one of them. This one sucks.

The Battle of Bikini Bottom is a trash (:funny:) episode and was #2 on my list. I hate it so much. Grossout is my least favorite type of humor, and the grossout that appears occasionally throughout the show is easily my least favorite aspect of the show. And no episode does it worse than this episode, where outside of the first couple minutes (which have some genuinely funny moments), the only humor of the entire episode is just grossout. This episode is absolutely disgusting and is easily the one I find to be the grossest, which is saying something when episodes like Squid Baby exist. This episode is just painful for me to watch. The idea of Spongebob and Patrick fighting each other on two different sides of a war/battle is actually a really cool and fun concept, and this couldn't have failed at using it more. A clean vs dirty war is the worst possible idea they could have went with for the battle; not only is it an extremely lame idea, but it also causes the episode to be extremely gross and disgusting. Thank GOD they went back to the battle concept in season 6 with Sand Castles in the Sand, a battle idea that's actually cool and results in an amazing episode.

The Splinter is one of those episodes that used to be very hated, but has seemingly fallen out of being one of the most hated episodes and no longer has the hatred to make it far into the list (or even at all in this case). But honestly? I don't think it deserved to stop being hated. Maybe bottom 10 is a bit too harsh, but this episode completely deserves at least bottom 25. This episode is another grossout based episode, and most of the humor in this episode just involves Spongebob's splinter gradually getting worse and worse, eventually becoming completely disgusting by the end. Not only is this episode gross because of this, but its also super boring. It doesn't feel like all that much happens, and its not funny at all either. The episode only really deviates from this once, when "Doctor Patrick" appears to help....and funnily enough, this is somehow worse than the rest of the episode. Patrick just sticks Spongebob's foot in his mouth for like 2 minutes, makes the splinter even worse, and that's about it. Yeah, this episode didn't need to fall out of the bottom 30. It should've been One Coarse Meal instead.

Hide and Then What Happens? is another very boring episode with very few jokes. Patrick not understanding the game and just forgetting about it completely wasn't funny, and that's pretty much the only joke in the entire episode; and the rest of the episode is just boring too. That being said, its at least not gross, annoying, has a nonsensical plot, and has terrible characterization. I also like Patrick NotStar; his existence is pretty funny. I kinda get why people put this on their worst list, but I think there's worse episodes. But I do think this is a good place to put it on a worst list; bottom 50, but not bottom 30.

Waiting is just a boring episode, slightly helped by its shorter runtime, not helped at all by its terrible characterization. Spongebob is a complete fucking asshole in this episode for some reason, and its all because he's so impatient about getting a toy exactly when it delivers. And then he starts crying like a baby when he "breaks" it. Such an annoying episode, it'd probably make my list if it was a full length episode and I had to sit through extra minutes of it.

Face Freeze is a terrible episode and was #3 on my list. I can't believe you guys let this fall off of the list 😭 like what does this episode even have to let itself be above bottom 30? This episode is probably the most boring episode of the entire series. There's virtually nothing in this entire episode except for a collection of the absolute worst facial expressions ever put into the series. Like, this episode would already be bottom 15 if the faces weren't gross, because of how boring and empty it is; there's no jokes, or anything remotely interesting at all except for the facial expressions. But then they had to go and make them ugly as hell (and usually even outright disgusting) too, making this episode also one of the grossest of the series. So this episode is both extremely boring and very gross, with almost no jokes or even really anything at all except the gross faces. The ending doesn't even make any sense either; like ok, Spongebob and Patrick kept their faces for a whole night, it makes sense for them to get face freeze. But then Squidward and Mr Krabs had their faces for just a couple seconds and get it??? What the fuck?

Also, shoutouts to Boating Buddies, Atlantis Squarepantis, and All That Glitters finally not being on a worst list, not even in HMs. These episodes are good and never deserved to be on here. Also nice to not see Doodle Dimension here at all either.

I wasn't even AWARE that some OTHER people were NOT hating "One Coarse Meal" as much as they used to; but for me, I cannot understand how ANYONE could HONESTLY defend that episode segment! Mr. Krabs LITERALLY tried to terrorize Plankton to the point where he TRIED to honestly KILL himself! If Plankton ever tried to do THAT to Mr. Krabs, people would be SCREAMING from the top of a freaking mountain on how WRONG that is; so I am NOT going to stand for such hypocrisy, which is why I made it my number two pick! "Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy", made my list because at number nine...who in their right MIND would make an episode about Sandy being able to remove her fur, have it STOLEN by Plankton (in one of his WORST attempts to steal the Krabby Patty Secret Formula EVER) and Sandy somehow going to jail for running around without her fur, even though that WASN'T even her fault! "Clash Of Triton" made my list at number eight, because a concept that SHOULD'VE revolved around King Neptune's Birthday, instead revolves around King Neptune punishing Triton for liking the surface world; and by the time Spongebob and Patrick find him, he's become SO jaded he goes on a RAMPAGE against the surface world, and neither King Neptune or Triton get punished for their actions by ANYONE! "Are You Happy Now?; The Splinter; Waiting; Face-Freeze"; and "Big Sister Sam" all barely missed making my list; and I'm REALLY surprised "House Sitting For Sandy" made this list, as it's another too boring to really care about episode in my books. As for the other dishonorable mentions, most of them I'm not sure why ANYONE would hate them enough to put them on their lists. Anyways, we're finally getting to the top (of the bottom) ten! Be prepared for just about anything!

Now let's continue the countdown and start the bottom 10 episodes!!! Are you ready?

10.  What a lucky break! Now I have a captive audience!

Choir Boys - 165 points

9 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #2, @CakeCup) (-3)

Season: 6

Writers: Aaron Springer, Richard Pursel

Plot: SpongeBob wants to join the choir that Squidward participates in.

This episode dropped 3 places but it didn't leave the bottom 10, which I'm not surprised because a few people here don't hate it as much anymore or even like it while there is still a group that still hates it. Springer's episodes (especially in season 6) tend to have a particular funnibad humor but here it just doesn't hit. We begin with a extremely boring first minutes where SpongeBob is...bored laying on the floor. Then the rest of the episode is StalkerBob that is not even funny. After asking if he can go to the choir with him and getting a negative response he still follows him everywhere, just because he wants to show how he sings and convince him to go with him??? It would have been better if it focused more on SpongeBob practicing for the choir and surprise Squidward there, instead of annoying him with his singing. Apart from "SpongeJesus", this episode has absolutely nothing to praise.

9.  You don't need to know everything about your best friend. That's what keeps the friendship interesting!

You Don't Know Sponge - 171 points

9 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #1, @ThePickleMan) (+10)

Season: 7

Writers: Luke Brookshier, Nate Cash, Derek Iversen

Plot: SpongeBob and Patrick take a quiz on each other, which threatens their friendship.

Thank god YDKS jumped 10 places because this is legit rock bottom for this show and it absolutely deserves a bottom 10 spot. I have a million questions about this episode but this one of them: Why were they taking that friendship test in the Krusty Krab? Why does everything in S7 have to take place there? Ok let's get to the real shit...Patrick is dumb but NOT to the extent of not even knowing if SpongeBob is a boy or a girl. Of course, he answers all these basic questions wrong and when Squidward sees the results he answers "It's like we're not friends at all?", huh????? When he gets SpongeBob's ice cream flavour wrong and the latter cries he and Lou treat him like he's in the wrong??? This left me out of words about how extremely out of character he was. Also Sandy is pretty useless at helping SpongeBob by telling him the less you know him the more interesting friendship it is, this makes zero sense...and when SB cries again she calls him a cry-baby like he's in the wrong? Wtf is wrong with everyone's characterization? After Patrick shops with Larry for some reason he gives SB Groucho glasses and he answers "you do know me, best friend", I don't think that makes sense at all either after all that happened earlier...

"Choir Boys" is another one of those episodes that's too boring and too pointless to remember from my perspective...and oddly enough, I'm not exactly sure on how I feel about "You Don't Know Sponge". I half don't like it, and I also half don't care about it. Plankton would probably serve it as Chum if he could, but that's probably ALL the episode segment is really GOOD for!

Posted

Honestly, I actually like Choir Boys. The throat clearing gag sucks, but the rest of the episode is genuinely funny. Spongebob drilling a pothole to launch Squidward into jellyfish to force him to listen to Spongebob sing is hilarious. Especially since he also says "What a lucky break, now I have a captive audience" and then "Squidward can you keep it down please?" as he's yelling in pain from being stung by jellyfish, its so fucking funny. Spongejesus is also funny.

You Don't Know Sponge was #6 on my list, its so bad. The fact that Patrick, SpongeBob's best friend, can't even remember what Spongebob's shape is, is just absurd. Patrick is dumb, but this just makes him a terrible friend. He even says "It's like we're not friends at all!". Spongebob is rightfully sad about this, and Sandy's response is that this is a good thing, because not knowing your friends makes the relationship interesting??? What???? How does that make any sense whatsoever. Why WOULDN'T you wanna know stuff about your friends? And especially considering Patrick didn't seem to know ANYTHING about SpongeBob at all, this is a really fucking dumb statement. Guess friendships are only good if you don't actually know them! Screw you guys, I already know you guys so the friendship is no longer interesting. I'm switching to the sb wikia instead, I don't know them at all so it's a healthier friendship.

Also this episode is boring af, I forgot about all these things back in 2019 and still had it on my bottom 25 just for being boring as hell. I don't remember there being any jokes either, so this episode is just empty except for the really shitty stuff.

8. Two words, SpongeBob... "na" "chos"

Smoothe Jazz at Bikini Bottom - 185 points

11 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #5, @CakeCup @dmandagiraffe @Coffee_lover) (+2)

Season: 8

Writers: Casey Alexander, Zeus Cervas, Richard Pursel

Plot: SpongeBob and Squidward attend Kelpy G's concert.

I'm kinda surprised this episode made the bottom 10 (and even jumped 2 places) even when I took Smoothe out of my bottom 15. Like many episodes on this list, I hate it but not enough to warrant a bottom 15. However, this is one of the worst examples of wasted potential because SpongeBob and Squidward attending a concert together was a cool idea but the final product is such a mess. Tbh the first half isn't that bad but I'd say it's still boring. The 2nd half, or to be exact, when Patrick appeared is when it all went more downhill than it was. What was the point of him popping up there if he doesn't even care about Kelpy G, just nachos? Of course, he has to eat SpongeBob and Squidward's backstage passes because hahahaha it's funny!!! laugh!!! Then Squidward gets all the bad luck in the world as he loses his seat and gets kicked out of the concert. I wish this episode ended better for Squidward like him playing his clarinet on stage with Kelpy G or something.

7. This town is getting too rough for me.

imagethumbpng3e6d354.png

Pet or Pests - 188 points

10 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #1, @CakeCup) (-1)

Season: 6

Writers: Aaron Springer, Richard Pursel

Plot: SpongeBob adopts a stray worm who gives birth to worm babies overnight.

This episode used to be my worst episode for the longest time but it's still the #1 ugliest episode in the entire show. The animation AND writing were at their absolute low here. I haven't complained about the animation itself in my past reviews because most of s6-9a doesn't look good and I would repeat myself so I bring this complain to this ep that represents more the ugliness than everything. The combination of ugly animation and gross-out is the last thing I want not only in SpongeBob but also for any other shows. How can you make baby worms that ugly? Why is there a puking worms running gag? Of course, the writing has countless flaws like slow dialogue, Larry not knowing (or pretending not to know which would be very rude from him) SpongeBob and wanting to eat the worms, the dreaded doorbell gag that goes on for literally 30 seconds, the lame "old country" joke, and too many to count. This episode was made with literally every single flaw of middle post-movie.

Smoothe Jazz is a bad episode. It wasn't on my list, but it's in my bottom 30. The big problem is Patrick's role. All he does is just eat everything, which is the cause of most of the conflict in the episode, and its just annoying. It also makes no sense that the crowd loved Patrick either. In general, there's barely any jokes in the episode. Honestly don't have much else to say.

Funnily enough, Pet or Pests is in the exact same spot I put it on my list. This episode is one of the most boring episodes of the entire series, and Has zero jokes throughout the entire episode, or really anything good at all. It's one of the ugliest and grossest episodes of the entire series as well, the worms are all disgusting, and I don't know why we needed to see Mrs Wormsley giving birth. Larry not knowing Spongebob makes no sense, and Spongebob ringing Mrs Puff's doorbell for like 45 seconds is the most obvious filler in the entire series. This episode is terrible and deserves to be this low on the list.

I decided against submitting Pet or Pests this year because while I felt it was bad I felt no passion for putting it on my list. It's not an undeserved placement to be in the bottom 10

"Smooth Jazz At Bikini Bottom"...I don't know WHY this episode is so high up on this list, it's one of the most boring, most NOTHING episode segments that I can personally THINK of! To quote someone from an "Animaniacs" special: "Congratulations, you just discovered the cure for Insomnia!" As for "Pets Or Pests"...maybe the Baby Worms DID look a little ugly, but in my personal way of thinking, that alone is NOT enough reason for me to put it on my worst list, especially since there are SO many other cartoons (and some of it actually INTENDED for kids to see) that have gotten away with depicting SO much uglier! If something is both mean-spirited AND ugly, that would be my personal number one choice for the Worst "Spongebob Squarepants" episode ever! That's all I want to say for now. Enough said, true believers!

Truth or Square - 199 points

9 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #1, @Less_SpongeBob @Honest Slug) (-1)

Season: 6

Writers: Luke Brookshier, Nate Cash, Steven Banks, Paul Tibbitt

Plot: During a Krusty Krab anniversary celebration, SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, and Mr. Krabs accidentally get locked in the freezer.

The first of my many complains about TOS is...why did this even need to be TV movie if you're going to add extremely boring Patchy segments for about half the episode??? Good thing there is a 22-minute version that skips the Patchy segments (and the episode doesn't change at all) but the SpongeBob segments are not any better. Most of the flashbacks by themselves are not bad but the episode itself is just filler, filler and more filler...they are just sitting there in the vents and there is a flashback every 10 minutes which is surrounded by unnecessary or stupid scenes. This episode is also soooo lazy with reused animation (exact same footage of Plankton falling in the vents 3 times) and voice recordings (OWIE OW OW). Speaking of Plankton why the fuck is he even there? He contributes nothing and could easily be removed from this episode and not change a thing. This doesn't even feel like a special at all, just filler dragged out for 50 whole minutes. Also, what does eleventy-seventy even mean??? Couldn't they have used an existing number???

Ink Lemonade - 217 points

12 of 21 lists (Highest ranking #1, @OWM) (-1)

Season: 11

Writer: Kaz

Plot: Patrick's lemonade stand is unsuccessful until he gets a secret ingredient from Squidward.

Ah yes, the first post-sequel episode on this bottom list and it's pretty low at #5. During this good era I was surprised to see such a horrible episode, I couldn't believe it at first. I remember when we used to joke about Time of the Month but the actual thing killed the meme for me. Only thing I can praise about this episode is the top notch animation but the rest is just uncomfortable to watch. Why did they come up with the idea of Squidward's ink being an ingredient for lemonade? And most importantly, why is this episode so uncharacteristically gross? Did we really need to see Patrick's internal organs or spiders coming out of Squidward's mouth? I don't like to use the term "Squidward torture" unironically but here it's unfortunately nearly true. We have a 2 minute sequence of Patrick scaring Squidward to death for the sole purpose of getting his ink. I get some people find enjoyment out of it but this is just not for me.
