For starters, the part where Pearl, Squidina, Sandy, and The Flying Dutchman pop through doors and stuff, is a reference to "Laugh-In"; Grandpat and Grandma Tentacles heckling the different sketches and comedy guests is a reference to Statler and Waldorf from the original "The Muppet Show"; and the part where they have a secret word, is a reference to "Pee-Wee's Playhouse", only instead of the word being described, CAUSES that action to actually happen, you just SCREAM really loud! Also, the Peter Lorre fish now FINALLY has an official name; his name is Slappy, and he actually gets a GIRLFRIEND in this episode! Apparently, all the DIFFERENT Patrick's we've seen so far, are actually PLAYED by different actors, since they ALL appeared together on the same couch! Also, the teapots can FLY!
