"Every Who down in Whoville liked Christmas a lot

But the Grinch, who lived just north of Whoville, did not!"

Since the holiday season has come, it seems this poll would be very appropriate for this festive time of year.

So, which adaptation of Dr. Seuss' beloved book do you love the most? Personally, I like the 1960s Chuck Jones version the most. IMO the story lends itself best to a 20-or-so minute special than to a 90-minute feature film, although the Jim Carrey film is alright.

why

Long story short I am an animation enthusiast/reviewer and I can't form my own opinion on the Illumination film unless I saw it myself. (i don't know if you needed a response but here you go)

The one with Thurl Ravenscroft doing the singing! "You're a mean one, Mr. Grinch. You really are a HEEL! You're as cuddly as a cactus, you're as charming as an eel Mr. GRINCH! You're a bad banana with a greasy black peel!" Enough said!
