SOS: Why do you love SpongeBob?

Essentially, he's lovable.

He's warm and friendly. He's sometimes knowledgeable, but most of the time he's clumsy, and that's okay.

SpongeBob is always okay with whatever personality he wants to shows off on a daily basis, which makes him unique. He doesn't always adapt and listen to others.

Most importanly, he uses his imagination to think of and do anything he wants to do and is always up for a challenge.

Hope that answers your question!

SpongeBob is a character made of limitless optimism. Every day is a great day for him, even though he lives an average life and has a below-average job. The show at large is about how to stay happy and creative, which is what SpongeBob does, what the writers do, and what the fans do.

If you’re gonna feature us in your project by name, make sure you remember me. If not, don’t worry.

Thanks so much! What do you have to say about the values of the show? Why is it still around - and relevant (if so) after 20 years? What about other characters - who also plays an important role in the show/story and why?
