OWM
I was just watching this yesterday with some friends, lol. Also did in theaters with Incredibles 2. Love the animation and the heart this has.
dmandagiraffe
Watched this earlier today. Holy crap, Pixar always seems to have a way upping the ante on animation and feels. Spoiler I literally almost thought the short was gonna end when the dumpling kid got vorrected
kev
didn’t really like it much the first time before incredibles 2, but i def like it more on rewatch yesterday.

Aquatic Konquest
Saw this when I first saw Incredibles 2 with one of my best friends in July; did not expect to get emotional in like the first ten minutes of sitting in the theater, and I'm not even one who's very invested in Pixar shorts. Steel Sponge
While I still have to wait for my chance to see Incredibles 2, I was glad I got to see this just now. Expected from Pixar, I never would've thought that I would get some emotional attachment from a mother and a sentient dumpling at first until the short would eventually strike a chord on me. Simply put, I thought it was a great short. Spoiler Even while I think that it does the cliche justice, I still think it could've done without the whole "it was just a dream" twist. Spoiler honestly , i never saw it as a dream twist. more of how her life with her son was being represented with the dumpling.

President Squidward
that artstyle turned me off so badly but I never got to finish the short. Now it's gone. RIP
