Here's the end of this remaster.

71 / 72. Cancelled! (Parts One & Two)

One fateful day, Gary, Daniel, Snellie, Rocky, YoYo and Little Dollar are playing some fun games outside of SpongeBob's house. Suddenly, a mailfish approaches the snails, and he asks if any of them are Gary the Snail. Gary meows, and the mailfish hands him a letter. The snails wonder what it says, as Gary opens it. The letter turns out to be an invitation to Coralwood for Gary and his friends to star in their very own movie, called "The Adventures of Gary the Snail: The Movie!" Gary and his friends are excited and perplexed by this offer, so they decide to accept it. SpongeBob goes outside and looks at the letter surprised. He is happy by this, and is proud of Gary. The snails and their respective owners all head to Coralwood through a sea plane. They arrive in Coralwood, and head to the studio where the film will be made. The director happily greets them, who calls themselves "Jonathan Jack Shellington". He happily greets the snails and owners, as he has them settle in their own rooms at a nearby mansion. The snails are served fancy snail food, which they enjoy greatly. SpongeBob, Patrick, Squidward, Mr. Krabs and Fred explore the mansion's other attractions, such as a spa, arcade and theater. Gary is happy, hoping this movie will act as a definitive closure to his adventures and fame. Everyone is loving it in Coralwood, but Jonathan tells them it's time to start their first day of filming.

Filming begins, as all of the characters get ready for their roles. The first scene is set in a mockup of Conch Street. However, Gary can't help but suspect something is a bit suspicious about Jonathan. As the scene progresses, Jonathan starts to act off and intentionally have the characters do stupid things, causing them to mess their roles up. Jonathan also acts very angry, controlling and rude toward the characters. Squidward is starting to get fed up with Jonathan's antics, as are the others. Gary then keeps looking at Jonathan suspiciously, and realizes...he's a robot! Gary tackles Jonathan, causing his robot suit to break, confusing everyone. Plankton gets out of it angrily, as he laughs. Everyone is confused and shocked by this. Plankton reveals his plan was to lure all of them here with false promises of being stars, so he could defeat and humiliate them when they least expected it. He was hoping to make the movie so terrible it'd ruin Gary and everyone else's reputation. Gary says that will not happen, and crushes Plankton. Plankton is surprised Gary was willing to cancel his movie, but Gary tells him he doesn't need it and is happy as a normal snail. Plankton is then taken away by the police for impersonation. Although the others are upset that his movie was cancelled, Gary realizes they never needed a movie as a definitive conclusion to their journey. Gary says there's still plenty of fun for him and his friends to have for years to come. They head back to Bikini Bottom, reliving their normal lives. The spin-offs ends with SpongeBob taking Gary through a walk across town, and Gary happily meows.

Note: Series finale and a half-hour special.

Thanks to all who read this remaster. I enjoyed looking back at my first work, and redoing it in a better format. This was a nice way to celebrate our decade of spin-offs legacy.
