DC CW Animated Web Series: "Freedom Fighters: The Ray"

Recommended Posts

Aside from The Punisher, the superhero show I'm looking forward the most. This is the first superhero show with A GAY MALE LEAD SUPERHERO (that alone gets me pumped) and the group he's leading are gonna fight bunch of nazis from Earth-X, where the nazis took over the world and Supergirl, Flash and Green Arrow are nazis. The animation and the action scenes look even better than Vixen: The Animated Series.

I'm ready for minority superheroes to kick nazi ass.

Thoughts?

Gay superheroes vs. Nazees?

That concept does sound strange, but given that this IS a superhero show, it could work given the right team...and it looks to be that way.

well just one gay superhero, others are minorities of color and an android but nevertheless, the gay superhero being the captain of the team. always yes.

Very pumped for this! Also, really excited that this is gonna heavily play into the Arrowverse crossover this year.

That poster is lit. I love the inspiration from real comic book covers. It's exciting how deep this universe is getting. We've certainly come a long way from Arrow season 1.

And The Ray's actor is really cute. Great to see a gay character being played by an actual gay actor. Not that it's something I nitpick over, but still.
