Clappy Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 The sequel? Remake? Reboot? Rehash? Whatever it is to the 1995 Robin Williams movie. The original Jumanji is one of my favorite Robin Williams movies and while at first I thought that this sounded completely unnecessary (and it is), the trailer kind of warmed me up to wanting to see this more than I initially did. I like the fact that they make fun of some of the tropes (Karen Gillian is right, why would a woman want to wear half a shirt and short shorts in the jungle?) and I'm interested as to how the non-avatar tropes will make the characters who portray them grow (because it is a family friendly movie, I would definitely expect them to do that).
