You can visit both Johto and Kanto; battle Red; receive a Kanto starter and Hoenn starter of your choice; capture the birds, the dogs, Mewtwo, and Lati@s (depends on the game); team up with Lance and your rival on two separate occasions; the E4 get stronger with Pokemon from every region, not just Johto; the Sinnoh Battle Frontier is back; the PokeAthlon... It goes on. Buy it. NOW.

There is a rumor that in the very original game, in´?? the Lavendertown theme the was three chords that only 7-12year olds could hear. Nintendo "discovered" this and mysteriously removed all copies and took out those three chords then re-released the game. The kids who heard these mythical chords went insane and committed suicide, or so the rumor goes
