Five carnival workers are kidnapped the night before Halloween and held hostage in a large compound. At the mercy of their captors, they are forced to play a twisted game or life or death called 31. For the next 12 hours they must fight for their lives against an endless parade of homicidal maniacs.

General audiences will be able to see 31 when it’s released on VOD platforms on September 16, before opening in limited theaters on October 21 via Saban Films. Sheri Moon Zombie, Jeff Daniel Phillips, Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs, Meg Foster, Kevin Jackson, Richard Brake, Lew Temple, Jane Carr, Judy Geeson, and Malcolm McDowell star.

Rob Zombie's films are usually a hit or miss for me... but I think I'll check this one out.

Yes, he isn't just a musician. He's made quite a few horror films, with "House of 1000 Corpses" and "The Devils Rejects" being his most recognized works.

This looks pretty cool, actually. I have mixed feelings about Zombie's movies, but i'm sure this will be at least watchable so long as he doesn't make us sit through his wife's attempts at acting.
