The timer to complete the last event (Egg Hunt) has finished. These just seem to keep going by faster and faster as the years go by. Only one team could win however in the end, and we have our result! The winning team is with, 29-24... DRASTICALS! Yup, it may be hard to believe, but the Drasticals have their first team tournament win ever, and their first win of a March Madness event! Maybe they had luck on their side, the heart of the cards ( ), or just an overall more active team this year, but they finally won! The Drasticals will receive 1,000 doubloons, a Patrick Basketball Outfit collectable, and they get to claim a country in SpongeCraft as Drastical territory (can be discussed via PM). While this wasn't as close as last year's 19-18 win from the Band Geeks, the Geeks still put up a good fight, even with their first defeat. But look on the bright side Band Geeks, you are still leading in tournaments overall 4-1. Before you all say your praises or grievances, here's a fun statistic I did: I counted who won the most games from each side. This counts all events, including contributions to Doubloon Stockpiling and the Egg Hunt. There aren't any additional prizes for this, other than bragging rights. You can put this in your signature, profile, wherever if you wish, though for bragging rights. TOP DRASTICAL WINNERS: 1.) @Hayden and @Mr. Dr. Professor Patrick with 12 wins. (Drastical MVPs! ) 2.) @Halibut with 7 wins. 3.) The team leader, @TheOpenWindowManiac with 6 wins. 4.) @SpongeOddFan and @teenj12 with 4 wins. TOP BAND GEEK WINNERS: 1.) @Fred Rechid with 10 wins. (Band Geek MVP! ) 2.) @JCM with 5 wins. 3.) The team leader, @Trophy, and @sbl with 4 wins. Once again, congratulations to the Drasticals! Feel free to use this topic to give your brofists to the other team members, and maybe give a friendly hand shake to the Band Geeks. This was definitely our biggest March Madness, and I'm proud of how it turned out. We tried some new things (some might have worked, others not as much), but it was intense all the way through. Special thanks to everyone who participated and won in something this year, even if you didn't make it into the top winners above. Stay tuned for more team tournaments coming this year...
