New feature!!! You can now use Minecraft to connect to SpongeCraft! Use any version between 1.7.2 and the latest version of Minecraft to connect!

All you need is a legit Minecraft account and Minecraft downloaded onto your computer. You don't even need the SpongeCraft client installed if you don't want it!

:smirk: I'm looking at all of you Mineshafter users.

You'll need to go to the link below in order to use SpongeCraft on Minecraft. The site will tell you the server address and everything you need to know to get on. Be warned: once you set your username on SpongeCraft, you can only change it through Mojang's website. You cannot use it to connect to somebody else's Minecraft account, nor can you have any redos. Skins now work on 1.8.

To play, go here: http://www.thesbcommunity.com/spongecraft/account

And as always, you can still use the SpongeCraft client if you do not have Minecraft.

Have fun!  :squilliam2:

Update: skins now work on 1.8. Also, you can only connect from 1.7.2 to 1.8.7 (latest) now. Unfortunately, this is a limitation that I cannot control. If you want 1.5.2, use the SpongeCraft client.

ALSO: If you use Minecraft to get on SpongeCraft, you can jump between SpongeCraft and SBM's server, CraftBuddy Mania! Use the /server command. Hopefully this will be a convenience for you all as you can now connect to one server to get to both!

Attention Minecraft users!

You will no longer be able to play using the "latest version" on Minecraft. This is due to 1.9 now checking whether our server is running an identical version as the version you are playing in your client.

However, this is not always possible. SpongeCraft uses Spigot, and we can only update it to the latest version that Spigot offers.

Upon playing the game, Minecraft will tell you what version of Spigot our server is currently running. At the time of this post, it is 1.9.0. What you then need to do is create a profile for SpongeCraft with this version of Minecraft, then play.

Apologies for the inconvenience, but this is something that the developers of Minecraft created that is out of our control.
