Cha
In The Secret Box and Band Geeks, I've noticed that in certain parts like when the screen shakes, there's a blue frame around the screen. This can be seen when Patrick's box lands in SpongeBob lap or in Band Geeks when the band plays their music really loudly. So what is this? It's been bugging me for a really long time. Did someone make a mistake and not make the frame wide enough to fit the others? Or is it just a replay error? See that blue hue that appears and disappears after the next frame?Spoiler 1
jdfr03
Yeah, I've seen this too. I thought it was from my TV.
crushingmayhem
Never noticed this before. But it probably has to do with the frames and the fact that animation isn't always completely accurate.
Grubby Grouper
That's weird, I never noticed that. I wonder how that ended up making the final cut, it looks like an easy fix.
BeachBob95
It happened when the animation was shaking (heavy noice, quakes), so the animation has to get a tiny bit larger for that. I assume it's hard to draw a whole new background for that one second, and it isn't that noticable, so I guess that's why they kept it like this. But to be honest, it's pretty wacky that it happened two episodes in a row
1234567890qasdfgbhnjmk
I noticed this on my season 2 and 3 box sets and my Halloween DVD.
EVSPONGEFAN
I always thought it was a DVD error, but I've noticed it too. Also, it's weird how the two are sister-episodes.

Mouseandowl
It always annoys me, especially the part with the building shaking in Band Geeks. It's just so noticeable.
The Drifter
Maybe it was mean to simulate camera shaking.

ionknowwhathappenedd
It also happened in Welcome to The Chum Bucket too when Plankton was placing the grill for Spongebob. Idk but I’m fine with it tbh it makes the episode more funnier
