Still, it's not as good as any season before season 4, and I don't think they will be able to make a season that is as good as them. Favorite season 7 episode (so far) 1. Young Nug Posted May 19, 2012 Share Posted May 19, 2012 I really don't know what to say about this Season. After two years of crappy episodes (Season 6), these episodes were certainly a step up. But really.... The first half is almost as bad as Season 6 to me. Episodes like Growth Spout, Stuck In The Wringer, The Inside Job, Someone's In The Kitchen With Sandy, A Pal For Gary, Summer Job, One Coarse Meal, The Cent Of Money, and Trenchbillies all register to me as mediocre and garbage. But then, in the Second half of the Season, things started turning around. Episodes had a weird new feel, the humor was better, and more underwater references began to pop up. If you're watching Spongebob all the way through, and your drop-off point was around Atlantis Squarepantis, then pick up again at The Great Patty Caper. That's where the episodes become consistently good. There were some first half good episodes, though. I Heart Dancing, Tentacle Vision, Model Sponge, Kracked Krabs, Spongebob's Last Stand, Back To The Paast, etc. The art here got a lot better, and gross out is used less. The music recieved some new tracks, and the voices got a little less screamy. The episodes themselves seem reminiscient of S5, but they're not as good.
