  1. SUPREME: THE IVORY ICON Episode 1 of this new literature from yours truly, "Whatever Happened to the Man of Majesty?", is coming soon.
  2. "Help Wanted" is now called "You Only Remember This Episode For The Tiny Tim Song".
  3. AT LAST! THE LITERATURE YOU'VE DREAMED ABOUT IS HERE! PRESENTING... SUPREME: THE IVORY ICON So, ever since I gave the rights to Power Rangers: Multiverse Force to @4EverGreen(since I admitted to having become disinterested in it), I intended to stop doing lits and likely just leave altogether to focus on other things. That, unfortunately, hasn't exactly panned out the way I hoped it would. Thankfully, however, I've decided to throw my hat back into the ring with a series based on one of my favorite comic books, Supreme; more specifically Alan Moore's run, which transformed the character from a dark and edgy Superman ripoff into a loving tribute to the Man of Steel's Silver Age incarnation and overall the history of comics in general...with a decidedly metafictional flavor to it. With that in mind, the plot concerns comic book shop clerk and freelance artist Ethan Crane, who is having a rather pressing issue as of late: he has no idea who he is aside from the basics - he's married to his beautiful (and very English) wife Emily, he lives in the shining retrofuturistic city of Omegalopolis, he spends eight hours a day working at Dazzle Comics alongside Diana Dane and Billy Friday...and not much else. However, Ethan quickly learns that he, as well as the world, are the latest "revisions" in an ever-changing story and Ethan turns out to be more than just an ordinary guy: he's the hero known as Supreme. Now having to balance his ordinary life with his newfound one as the Man of Majesty and protector of Omegalopolis, Ethan finds there's far more than it seems... Expect the first episode, "Whatever Happened to The Man of Majesty?", real soon.
  4. The Black Keys is required listening for any garage rock fan. The early indie stuff especially slaps.
  5. Tricky Dick's got some lick to smoke, so prop me up if you please~

  6. I am relinquishing full creative control of Power Rangers: Multiverse Force to @4EverGreen, since I have no creative interest in the series anymore, and am moving on from SBC in general to work on my shared superhero universe (which will primarily be posted on DeviantArt and AO3). My plan is to give him what I have of "The Obligatory Food Pyramid Episode" for him to finish, then wash my hands entirely of MVF.
  7. Hey, guys - apologies for not being here so long; just been busy with trying to figure out Cakewalk so my music can take off.

Well, I'm just glad you're all right. And if you ever plan to take off for seven months again, could you at least give us a two week warning, so we'll know you're just taking a break? Please and thank you in advance!

  8. Trigger warnings: I want to start off by saying that I was very hesitant to create a thread like this, since the last time I took part in a discussion on here about pro-antiracism protests, I expressed very regrettable alt-right viewpoints. That was several years ago. Now that I have opened my eyes to the fact that I am a left-wing libertarian, I want to take a moment to apologize for my earlier views that ultimately got the Charlottesville thread trashed the way it did. Now that I have gotten that elephant in the room out of the way, let's discuss a man named George Floyd. Several days , while shopping and attempting to cash a check, Mr. Floyd was restrained by several police officers and his throat essentially crushed by the ringleader Derek Chauvin. Suffice to say, this has had a far bigger impact in the past several days than anyone could have realized; this specific incident, more than any other, has been the straw that broke the camel's back in regards to police brutality. This has grown from an issue specifically regarding the Black Lives Matter movement into an issue that has affected Americans from all walks of life. We, as a nation, are tired of a frankly corrupt system that is slanted not only towards a majority population of middle and upper class whites, but rewards rather than punishes intolerance and forces those officers who would otherwise speak up into silence. It's time for a change, and it's exactly what we're trying to get. So, let's discuss.
  9. POWER RANGERS: MULTIVERSE FORCE Greetings all, Renegade here. I've decided to post my first lit on the site: an action/adventure crossover series based on the Power Rangers franchise. The series will follow a group of five characters in a science fiction/fantasy setting of my own creation as they become a new team of Power Rangers to save the world from an evil space demon using the powers of the ancient dinosaurs. Taking influences from the earliest Power Rangers seasons (more specifically, Mighty Morphin') and blending them with original elements, I hope to create a 65-episode series spanning 3 seasons. I'm currently working on the first episode, and should be posting it at some point.
