My stepdad's reading Harry Potter for the first time.

So, I told my stepdad that the new Power Rangers movie was coming out, and that this incarnation of Trini would be lesbian. His response was to accuse the filmmakers of "spreading SJW bulls***." And then he proceeded to say that people like genderfluids were examples of said "propaganda".

While I CAN understand my stepdad's concerns (the target audience shouldn't be exposed to this kind of thing until they are mature enough to understand it), issues like this, in terms of how LGBT people fit into society, should be discussed as early as possible so that prejudice doesn't form later in life.

Besides, its a PG-13 rated movie. That kind of topic should be EXPECTED in a movie of that nature! And with all the VIOLENCE that's going to be featured in this movie, I think ONE lesbian character should be the LEAST of people's concerns!
It's the same mentality as Russia RESTRICTING the live-action version of "Beauty and the Beast" to people ONLY ages 16 and up, simply because Lefou is PROBABLY gay!

...Why does @Spongetron Robotpants hate me...?

Since I've been seeing a lot of spin-offs/lits coming back this year, I plan for Power Rangers: Multiverse Force to do the same, rather soon.

I decided that I'd make a new status to shed a bit of light on my religious beliefs, specifically what constitutes what requirements are meant to enter Heaven or Hell. We as humans are inherently sinful, but we need a find a way to balance our sins with potential for goodness. In my opinion, there is no such thing, at least for mortals, of being "pure". If you're too evil, you will go to Hell. The same thing isn't true on the opposite end, to a degree. This is where my view on Purgatory comes in: if you are too "good", you're qualified to get into Heaven, but you must spend some time in Purgatory to balance your goodness with sinfulness. So, essentially my vision of Purgatory is kinda like Mos Eisley from Star Wars: you can indulge in as much sin as you need to so your goodness can be balanced out. The exception is if you use your "purity" for your own gain, in which case you go to Hell. Now, if you disagree with these opinions, that is perfectly fine. I will not judge.

Come as you are, as you were, as I want you to be.
