    Still kinda bummed out that I don’t enjoy SpongeBob anymore past like season 7.

     

    Show brought me so much joy growing up and it just feels so different now. Feels more like an excuse for Vincent and co to just make it more similar to the wacky stuff they like than more akin to its own unique cartoony style that made SB work. I’m afraid to even watch episodes because Squidward is my fav and I don’t want to watch some of the most frustrating writing for a character I love.
