They're really good, especially the story which is basically about a boy who wants to find out the truth about what happened to his mom and he goes to this other world to try and save it. I think you would like it, its mostly an action rpg so you get to actually battle unlike in other rpgs. The second game is similar but its a lot more action based.

Yeah they're both action rpgs. Kinda similar to the Tales games.
The first game has these creatures called familiars that you can train and make them fight, similar to Pokemon, which is pretty cool imo. The second game is more action rpg in general, it doesn't have familiars like the first game did.
